“THE FEAR THAT HAUNTED HAWKMAN!” An ancient Egyptian statue mysteriously causes Hawkman to fear the leader of the Sky-Raiders.

Part 1: The Fear that Haunted Hawkman

A mysterious force from a statue is causing people to fear the first thing they see. Hawkman and Hawkgirl are trying to stop a band of criminals called sky-raiders, Hawkman is seized by this force and refuses to even go near the leader of the group. They realize eventually that his fear must be unnatural and learn the source of it. They then alter the crystal in the statue causing the fear so that it instead causes love. They then capture the criminals and unite all relationships that had been broken by the force before.

Part 2: Birds in the Gilded Cage

Hawkman and Hawkgirl try to capture a group of criminals when a mysterious cage "captures" them. This cage was formed by a strange bird which believed it was protecting Hawkman and Hawkgirl. The two however learn how to communicate with the strange bird and tell it not to protect them and everything is fine. They capture the crooks and say farewell to the bird.
