It's a throw down at Grand Central, as Hawkeye and Mockingbird take on Cross' hired goons; enter Oddball and Bombshell, two destructive villains too nefarious for words! what happens when our heroes are overpowered by the baddies?

Bombshell, and Oddball, surreptitiously observe the return of Hawkeye, and Mockingbird. As Hawkeye, and Mockingbird, enter her apartment, a powerful explosion rocks the building. Much to their dismay, however, Bombshell, and Oddball, spy Hawkeye, and Mockingbird, still very much alive, in the crowd gathering on the street. Tipped off that something was amiss, due to footprints in the dust outside Mockingbird's door, Hawkeye remote triggered the explosive with a thermite-tipped bomb sniffing arrow.

Bombshell, and Oddball, withdraw from the crime scene. After the fires have been extinguished, Hawkeye, and Mockingbird, tour the ruins of her apartment. Mockingbird throws herself at Hawkeye, who stiffly withdraws from her. Hawkeye discovers an 8-ball in the debris. Mockingbird withdraws the remaining cash from her bank account to buy Hawkeye arrows. Following their investigation into weapons manufacturing at Cross Technological Enterprises, Hawkeye, and Mockingbird, pursue a lead to Manhattan's Upper East Side.

En route, on a subway train, Hawkeye is confronted by Steve Rogers. Hawkeye declines Rogers' offer of assistance on the case. Debarking from the subway train, Hawkeye is tipped to the presence of Oddball. Hawkeye, and Mockingbird, pursue Oddball. Oddball releases a barrage of spheres to slow their pursuit, injuring Hawkeye's wrist. Clearly leading the chase, Oddball stays within sight of his pursuers. Bombshell ambushes Mockingbird, felling her with an incendiary charge.

Mockingbird quickly recovers, but after a brief tussle, is subdued by Bombshell. Hawkeye's injured wrist causes him to miss a shot on Oddball. After a long running battle through the subway station, which carries them on and off another subway train, Hawkeye finally manages to best Oddball. Bombshell takes Hawkeye out. Bombshell, and Oddball, collect the unconscious forms of Hawkeye, and Mockingbird, and return to their mysterious employer.
