I have but honestly is she any better then Claire Danes was in my so called life? No. My point is this Kristen Bell is the in actress right now in the comic book world just like Hayden was the first year of heroes casting someone just becuase they are big in 08 does not mean they are best qualified for the position. I wonder what this thread would look like in 6 months from now when Kristen Bell wasnt on top of the media frenzy? Maybe it will be Miley Cyruss that has you all worked into a fan boy frenzy do to her stunning portrayal of some character. Kristen Bell is a fad actress because of her sucess with Heroes and veronica Mars(which was succesful in its niche just like My So called Life was)
She has shown that she can be quirky and athletic in her role in Heroes like Harley Quinn is portrayed and she has show a more serious side in Veronica Mars that can be put into when she is playing Jokers psychiatrist she also has the look required.
Casting Jessica Alba as Sue Storm was a bad idea an it represents waht you are saying to the fullest. Cast Kristen Bell as Harley Quinn would be a no brainer
Exactly Jessica Alba was a decision predicated around what the market demanded but Kristen Bell has shown she can play the outsider girl. Thats all she has shown. She is the girl thats pretty but wasnt on the cheerleading team thats all she is portraying. You havent made any case for Kristen Bell other then she did a good job playing Elle. Did she really do that though cause thats a broken character she starts all sweet and innocent and bam she is cold and hard. Helena Bonham Carter. She played Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd and Bellatrix Lestrange in Harry Potter: Order of the Phoenix. She would be perfect to play Harley Quinn since she's used to playing sadistic roles in movies.

How would they get his voice right? Ledger's Joker has a very distinct voice that you could tell apart from a fake.

I'm still going with Christina Ricci....she is a serious actress who could portray both sides of a character like Harley Quinn....she can play quirky....she can play crazy...she can play innocent....she can play evil....when I look at her I can visualize Harley Quinn....she may not look exactly like the comic book character...but in these movies not many of them really do.
Helena Bonham Carter is an amazing actress and I love her but I cant see her portraying the innocent quirky side, and I just don't see her as Harley Quinn...but hey what do I know?

yeah, see im kinda leaning toward her NOT being in the film! lol im just worried they will ruin her, but i was happy to hear about the joker.. Jack was good but he never really did it for me.. Heath i knew would be awesome.. hes from my home town so he ahd to be good :-P

Christina Ricci............Helena Bonham Carter both top choices to me.....Reese Witherspoon is an interesting mention....I'd have to think about that one.
I've been going through a reading a few of the arguments on here as well as other places and I actually think some of them are really good ideas. However, I'd have to agree with Kristen Bell. From watching Heroes, I was able to see that she actually could play a crazy person and I already knew she could play serious. But, I was more concerned with if she'd be able to be silly or not. I've recently learned that she could, in fact, play silly because she's done so in a few movies (the names escape me at the moment). Of course, though, there would probably be a better choice out there that isn't so well known.
Christina Ricci would also make a good choice too. She's also a universal actress.
Anna Ferris could work, but not in Nolan verse. She always looks too silly, in my opinion, and I think Harley needs to be able to have some serious moments rather than constantly just be silly.
As for Helena Bonham Carter and Juliette Lewis, I think they look a bit too old. I always thought Harley looked youthful but not like she's still in middle school. Get what I mean?
Sheri Moon Zombie would be perfect for this role. She does the crazy biatch role perfectly. If you dont believe me go watch House of 1000 Corpses or The Devils Rejects.

I agree. Especially if we remember that Mrs. Lovett was obsessed with Sweeney Todd the same way Harley was obsessed with Joker.
