After reading some of the comments I get the impression that seeing Patrick Wilson as Ant-Man might not be that crazy. I'm even willing to say it's leaning in his favor.

My hope for what Micheal Douglas' role in the movies is going to be is that at the end he turns out to be a skrull who replaced Pym years ago, so that Marvel could do a Secret Invasion story and when its all concluded they could find Hank still young and played by Patrick Wilson still because he was kept in stasis. But that might be too wishful thinking.

I just hope Marvel doesn't waste this re-write since the only attention the movie is getting is upsetting Hank Pym fans and people who don't know anything about Ant-Man going "what a dumb character" they really need to do this movie right and not cut out a lot of the Ant-Man fan base.

It only just happened not long before I made this topic and I didn't see any topic on it on the Hank Pym board so here it is.

I don't know if they should rush to the skrulls just yet. Cosmic Marvel is only just starting and while Guardians would be out by then I don't think Ant-Man will be the film to introduce skrulls into. Also how would they explain the skrull Pym being an old man but human Pym being young? Will his time as a prisoner of the skrulls stop him from ageing? I don't want Micheal Douglas in it at all but if he has to be it should be as Janet's father who is killed by scientists or whatever.
