Play Imaginative‘s Jim Lee-designed New 52 Justice League lineup continues to expand with a new Super Alloy Green Lantern boasting the line’s usual 12″ scale, approximately 80% die-cast construction and heap of accessories set to arrive by the end of the year.
On top of 25 points of articulation, the figure also features LED lights in its eyes, chest and the ring on its fist hand, plus its power battery accessory. Unlike every toy commercial ever has conditioned humankind to assume, batteries on this bad boy are totally included. Best of all, the lights can be activated via a packaged die-cast remote control so you can… potentially… use it behind your back and tell people you pulled off the effect using willpower.
On the accessory side, this GL packs the aforementioned power battery, multiple swappable hands, transparent “construct” body armor, a base stand, a foldable backdrop, a hard case box with metal plate logo, a microfibre cleaning cloth and even a screwdriver to swap batteries when the time comes. That’s dadburn considerate.
Fans set on owning their own mostly-metal Hal Jordan can expect to shell out around $360 when the toy arrives in December. Those who’re able to attend the Singapore Toy, Games & Comic Convention this weekend will have access to an exclusive version of the toy that comes packed with all of the usual items, plus an interchangeable “angry” battle damaged head with LED light eyes and a battle damaged body armor construct sans weapon.
You can see images of the exclusive version of the figure below. Just mentally omit the bonus parts to keep from getting STGCC envy.

I came......too bad its so expensive
More incoming :)
Hal takes on Arthur Light, even though Arthur Light becomes intangible and duplicates himself; Hal finds an alternative method and BFR Arthur Light in his power battery, despite Arthur’s attempt in shining yellow brightness.
Hal Jordan takes on Mongul and used his ring to amp up his strength, due to yellow vulnerability weakness and takes a blow barely from Mongul via ring protection and creates an armor construct. Hal then one shots Mongul with Steel’s hammer.
Kalibak surprisingly attacks a younger version of Hal Jordan that’s a decade younger and less experience, due to time travel in Kyle's present. Hal constructs a shield that’s durable enough to tank a blow from Kalibak, which he has a strength level in class 100+ without showing a crack on his armor and took other blows as well, then used aircraft fuel to later emulate a fire construct that sets Kalibak on fire.
As Parallax Hal Jordan sends his younger Hal counterpart back into his near present, Hal shows his true sheer determination of his willpower and overcame the yellow vulnerability of Sinestro’s ring, which cracks it and defeats him.
Hal Jordan, from surface leaves earth's atmosphere, which is around a 300 mile range theoretically from its surface to space within 5 seconds that his travel speed is equivalent to 216,000 mph to prevent a Manhunter from self-destruct within Coast City and easily tanks the blast that is of a 25 miles radius.
As Prof. Ivo unleashes multiple androids that have differential capabilities, Hal uses his ring to simultaneously detect and target the fail-safe swiftly.
What comics are those feats in? They're certainly Pre-Crisis, right?

Yea, most of the scans are from the pre-crisis era in the first page. I may post more feats here, post some in John's appreciation thread and some in Sinestro appreciation later on...

Do you happen to know which comics they're from? I recently came into a ton of pre-crisis DC stuff.

I have to do some digging to be sure. It's been a while since I've seen those scans. I'll let you know when I access them.
The Mongul fight is from the Death of Superman series, specifically the Return of Superman TP, which is a great book...so post crisis, about 1993. Dunno about the others, but great scans of the older Hal. We could do with some more showings from him like that now, instead of getting butt kicked as in the first half of Godhead.
The feat at the end was pretty cool however
@dadivineking: hal jordan created his own ring with his own willpower:
And would have beat a squad of yellow lanterns meant to take him out had he not been holding back because of the ring's power
How do almost breaking into the Speed Force and overpowering the U-bomb factor into this?
I'm gonna revamp this
Bump!
@cybernetics: Let me deal with the Aquaman situation and then I'll scanbomb this thread
