I think it's been long enough that I can talk about this.  But heads up spoilers.
 
In the Green Lantern previews we see the guardians are worried about the emotional instability of Hal Jordan. I'm sorta curious is there no Shrink on Oa? If not, is there no shrink in the 3600 sectors that could help him with his apparent bipolarity? 
 
And assume psychiatry was some how wiped out of the DC universe for some reason, wouldn't it be wise to remove him from active status then? Seriously, when a cop seems emotionally unstable they put him on leave, why is Hal Jordan still flying about if he's emotionally compromised? 
 
Have the guardians even tried walking up to Hal, or floating as the care maybe and just say "Hey Pal, why so down?"
 
Seriously with this guy's track record the second he seemed unstable his ring should've flown off his finger and went back to Oa. He's more and more the Greatest Liability of the Green Lantern Corp than the greatest member.

I'm predicting the War of the Green Lanterns will result in the Guardians no longer being in control and Hal as the "leader" of the Corps.

I've only been reading the Lanterns for maybe a year or so, and I only read for supporting characters and villains. I could care less about any of the four Lanterns from Earth.

I like johns and all. but seriously, give guardians some respect, at least ganthet

The guardians have had this a long time coming.  I don't like how the authors have taken them from being stubborn to practically diabolical. 
 
Everything else johns has been taking this story has been real cool though
