    Origin

    Very little is known about Gus McDougal. Probably originally from Delta City, he became a police officer there, and remained so for many years.

    Creation

    Gus McDougal was created by Keith Giffen, Tom Bierbaum, and Mary Bierbaum. He made his first appearance in The Heckler #1.

    Major Story Arcs

    The Heckler

    Extremely distressed by the demolition of his favourite doughnut shop to make way for a new McDonalds, McDougal takes to standing in front of the empty lot and weeping. He is occasionally visited by Stu Mosely, who brings him doughnuts (always glazed, which he finds upsetting due to the lack of variety offered by remaining doughnut chains), and coffee.

    Powers and Abilities

    Gus McDougal has no known superhuman powers or abilities. A police officer, he has presumably received training in armed and unarmed combat and investigative techniques.
