Synopsis

“RAGE PLANET” Chapter Two: In issue #2, the world descends into rage! Crowds are rioting while Simon and Jessica find themselves powerless to stop the carnage. With their backs against the wall and no other options available, Earth’s rookie Green Lanterns take the fight to the Red Lanterns’ Bleez!

Plot

Planet Ysmault, Home of the Red Lanterns: Atrocitus explains to Dex-Star and three other non-named Red Lanterns, that since the Butcher is dead, they will need to find a new home world and he, as their leader, has already started to transform Earth into a planet full of Rage.

Earth, Pima County Arizonia: The Hell Tower erupts causing a mass amount of Rage energy to be emitted, infected all around.

Portland, Oregan, Lexmart: Jessica Cruz is dealing with the local shoppers who have succumbed to the Rage Energy, and worse of all her sister Sara Cruz is one of the infective. Jessica tries to make a construct and thinks back to a week earlier when her and Sara were on the roof talking about the ring and its power. She sees visions of other Green Lanterns and the moment she got the ring, but this all fades away as she is unable to make a construct. It looks like Sara may kill her sister, but Simon Baz shows up and saves her.

Simon is able to cocoon Sara and forces Jessica to leave the mall. He shows her that the Rage Energy has spread across most of the US infecting thousands of people.
