As BRIGHTEST DAY begins, Guy Gardner and Kyle Rayner, along with the rest of the Green Lantern Corps, attempt to pick up the pieces from the horrific events of BLACKEST NIGHT and take a long hard look at how the Corps is run now that major revelations have come to light. Who survived (and what the Alpha Lanterns have in store for them) is only one of the many new questions that the Green Lanterns will have to answer on the difficult and dangerous road ahead.

    This issue was simply amazing.  After all the action of Blackest Night, it was nice to just settle down and get acquainted with the characters again.  This is what an epilogue should be.  It shows the aftermath of Blackest Night on Oa and in the Corps instead of hopping on to the next story arc.  The character interaction was terrific with characters picking each other up from their bootstraps and pushing them forward being the main focus.  And that's what it should be.  Blackest Night is war st...

    The Epilogue to Blackest Night finds all members of the Corps rebuilding after the devastation that reigned on Oa.   What You Need To KnowPeter Tomasi and Patrick Gleeson's run as creative team on Green Lantern Corps ends with this issue. Kyle died, but came back due to the love he shared with Natu.  Kilowog lost numerous recruits during the attack on Oa.  Guy was a Red Lantern.  Mogo engulfed the Black Lanterns attacking Oa.    The Good Peter Tomasi ends his run on top of his game.  He conclude...

    In comparison to the Green Lantern series epilogue to Blackest Night, this issue provides a much stronger sense of completion.  Part of what makes this so effective is seeing all of the regularly featured Lanterns here and in their true element, even Iolande, who is often overlooked gets a nice moment here.  Most of the action focuses on Kyle and Guy, especially so as they confront the Guardians (in fact this leads to an unexpected moment, though one which was completely in context.)   The most ...
