Lois has been involved with comic book industry since 1943. She works as an assistant manager in the DC Export Department. She was responsible for scanning all of DC Comics comic books for archives. She worked under the Milt Snappin in the Export Department. Her first job was with Photochrome Engraving. Then she worked for Chemical Color. She was then hired by DC Comics to her current position. The process of her job involves "cutting apart the negatives...used to produce each of the four colors (red, yellow, blue and black) required to print comics" Afterwards the negatives are filed away "by title and issue number". When requests come in to reproduce / reprint a comic the negatives are used.
