Recently Newsarama did an interview with Ben Percy, the continuing writer for Green Arrow

along with the interview we got a preview of the upcoming Rebirth issue

Any thoughts on the new costumes we can see?

Ben Percy claims this is the best story he's ever written,(and hopes this will go down as his "Court of Owls") will you be buying it?

I'm looking forward to this, and I do think Ben is a solid writer so far. I mean, his competition for best writer in recent years is Jeff Lemire, but that's a tall order. With that said, it looks really good.

What I'm not a fan of is the idea that Canary and Arrow are going to be a permanent thing. Especially since we've already seen this before and there are more interesting ideas to follow up on. That whole Tarantula/Green Arrow thing was never really resolved. Plus, I hear talk that The Outsiders and Emiko will be getting some serious play moving forward. Both of these are things I like, so I will be happy to see what Percy brings to the table with these.

@scouterv: yeah I think he has a good grasp on the character, even if he's done some out-there stories

I'm almost expecting Tarantula to show up later, and cause some drama between Ollie and Dinah, the solicits said she was supposed to show up this last story, but I'm guessing that was changed when Ben heard that was happening with Rebirth, looking forward to seeing what he comes up with

@mrnoital: The costume itself seems fine. It's all together my second favorite look post-Flashpoint.

I'd say Ollie looks a bit dated. But I get it. Pre-Flashpoint over everything.
