    Grant Morrison is a Scottish comic book writer who burst onto the scene in the late 1980's as part of DC's "British Invasion". Morrison has become a living legend in the field of comics, writing such acclaimed works as New X-Men, Doom Patrol, Animal Man, All-Star Superman, JLA, Batman, Action Comics, and Multiversity.

    I've noticed that one aspect of Grant Morrison's art which goes rather undiscussed is his many and varied influences. After years of obsessive gathering, I've made an amazon "listmania" list of what I believe are his biggest influences. The hope is that Morrison fans find it via searching and see something cool they'd never heard of before, maybe even opening up to a medium (theater or poetry, for example) they haven't been much involved. I want to share this list with more people, so I've come here... Needless to say, the point is not to plug amazon (which needs nothing of the kind) but merely to share information!
