So scouter level 400 goku trains and becomes about 180,000 on namke goes kaoken x20 which literaly made goku 20x stronger then his normal strength and couldnt even hurt freeza then he turned Super and it was soo much powerful. plus all their training and different stages of super saiyan through out the saga probably made him hundreds of thousands of times stronger then when he first fought in the series. No goku could kill someone like freeza just by looking at him
unless you are a celestial, alter reality, or have some nifty magic trick to send goku packing he is on the higher scale of most of the comic characters on this page. Not the best but maybe in the 70 percentile or 80...well just my opinion... and goku sucks vegeta is the only cool one =)

Okay I made this forum to show that just because he is said 400000x stronger, doesn't mean he actually is. I mean his feats from the first saga are multiplied in the previous saga, but it's basically the same. O'm trying to keep this inside boundaries. you can't just use things that apply to nothing else but the anime, then go use something from GT. Becasue mine are made by DC comics and DC makes a multiples storylines following one character with many writers and stroylines.
DBZ the anime is an adaption of the manga. If something didn't happen in the manga and happened in the anime, its filler, and can't be used to compare and contrast with against other things they have done.

I am not hating on DBZ, But you could just make a thread called, Dragon Ball why its cool and place it in the DBZ forum and post in that instead of trolling or go to http://www.animevice.com/forums/ . Comic vines sister site that is all about Anime and Manga both of which cover DB, DBZ and DB GT.
ok so this has always been one of my biggest questions in battles who would win this fight. The main problem with this fight is that Goku's levels change all the time and Superman for the most part stays the same.
To answer this question in a fair manner DBZ fans and DC most really focus on Superman since Goku has always displayed the fullest extent of his powers in every stage of his story. Superman in contrast has alwyas held back I believe we have never fully seen what superman can really do and Here is the proff.
1st Superman does not train. When have we ever seen superman training? I have heard that wildcat trained him in boxing but I have never seen it. we just saw him spar with wonderwoman but thats about it. Goku constantly trains cause he has too. Superman is so powerful in his Universe when has he ever really needed to prepare in way that goku has?
2nd Superman rarley fights someone that truly outpowers him. Outside of Doomsday (death of superman) when has superman fought that 100% was more powerful in everyway to him? I cant really think of any? there are a few that come to mind like darkseed Capt Marvel, Mongul, but do these guys REALLY 100% out power him? I dont think so its always close and superman never is fighting them to kill them only to stop them. Which brings me to the next point.
3rd Superman never fight to the death. in contrast every DBZ fight goku has been is 100% to the death one of them will DIE. Goku has died several times only to be brought back. Which leads one to think he really never should have reached the levels he did cause he DIED in the Radish fight. Superman doesnt kill nor fight to kill.
4th Superman fights smart villans. Supermans worst enemy is Luthor and regular man whos smart superman must be able to fight powerful but also smart villans...thus superman must be smart as well or he would loose. Goku is not that smart not to offend but hes almost DUMB...most of the guys he fights are dumb too or they never show any type of a plan to fight him. The battles are always the same situation goku vs _______ in a remote setting to the death and its all about POWER no plan no stragety just force vs force warrior vs warrior. No thought required.
I am willing to state that you can take goku at one of his various powerful level and place him aginst normal superman and yes he would win....that being said though I dont think thats a FAIR assement of the the battle itself. We really dont know how far superman can take this fight..it would be the frist time he would really have to go beyond himself to reach a new level of power...if he can do that at all. Goku has always been in situations like that and thus has HAD the chance to grow stronger. Superman has not been given those chances and thus its really unfair to state he would NOT have the same abality to be as powerful as goku given the right situations. Both have the heroic x factor to them at allows them to find a way win in the most difficult situations thus to DBZ fans you should never consider this fight curbstomp. And also consider the level of intellect at play here.....superman is supersmart....and again I mean not offend but Goku has a brick for a brain.
You could consider superman an underachiver the most noble hero in history who has never worked to become more than what he already is because he never had too.
The end result is that its a no contest untill DC shows us an ALL OUT superman we really cannot compare the two.

In his next fight, he is again around 10 times stronger than that. This is at the point where he fights Freeza for the first time. At this point, his strongest attack has the power to destroy 100 planets roughly the same size and density of Earth. With a single attack. When he becomes a Super Saiyan for the first time he appears to be about 3 or 4 times stronger than that. 300 Earth's destroyed with a single attack. Next we have the Androids. Android 19 is easily destroyed by SSJ Vegeta, who is slightly stronger than Goku (Goku having had around 4 years of additional training since the Freeza battle) Later on, we have Android 18, who beats the same Vegeta easily. So she would pummel Goku, obviously. Goku, however, cheats a year of training with his kid and masters the SSJ form. He completely outclasses Vegeta, who had also hit a new form that was able to decimate Cell, who was way stronger than 18. It's safe to say that Goku, at the Cell Games, was 10-15 times stronger than he was on Namek. That would put him at being able to destroy around 4500 Earths with a single attack. Then he gets an additional 7 years of training, reaching SSJ2 and 3. To give an example of the leap from SSJ to SSJ2, Gohan was at the same state as Goku at the Cell Games. He was weaker than Cell, but about par with Goku. perhaps a little stronger. When he reached SSJ2, he was able to beat Cell with no effort. Goku achieved that, and was at that level. He was a step beyond that level. He was at SSJ3. SSJ2 Goku was even with Majin Vegeta. Majin Vegeta later fought Fat Buu. He lost, Fat Buu was stronger and could regenerate. SSJ3 Goku later fought Fat Buu, and was stated to have been able to destroy him at that level, but he didn't to give the kids a chance to fight. And after that. After all of that, he still had another 10 years of training before DBZ ended. Another 10 years of hard work. Just imagine his power at the very end of DBZ. The canon ending of Dragon Ball.
With that in consideration, I think Goku could beat Superman. With pure, raw power. The power to destroy thousands, perhaps even millions of planets with a single attack. The damage would be astounding. As far as I know, Superman has no healing factor. That damage inflicted over the course of a battle could kill Superman, I think. As for brains, while Goku might not be very smart elsewhere, he's great in battle.

not to be rude here....but all that information about goku doesnt matter! we know how powerful he is he can blow up planets gather the energy from the whole galxay and etc etc etc. Superman is the focus of the battle at hand since hes really the one in question in terms of how can he match goku? thats the real question not how powerful goku is. We already know hes INSANE powerful.
