    Fighting for Betty

    No Caption Provided

Talbot tried to prove Banner as a monster and a traitor to the United States and always attempted to win the heart of the young, Betty Ross. His efforts increased after learning the secret of Bruce Banner being the Hulk.

He briefly succeeded and married Betty Ross (for a short period of time), always trying to keep her away from Banner and The Hulk and to try and create a barrier between them. Once, while on a mission, The Gremlin, had taken Talbot hostage and turned him into a mindless slave. Upon rescue, in order to unblock his mind, Dr. Samson had Bruce Banner unblock his mind and return him to normal. Unfortunately (for Talbot, anyways) his marriage with Betty was collapsing.

    Divorce with Betty

    No Caption Provided

Later, he returned to the military but Talbot took leave from Gamma Base and soon divorced Betty, leaving him a much more bitter person. Talbot continued battling The Hulk and attempted to get him court-martialed. When Ross had a mental breakdown, Talbot was promoted to Colonel. His life's work unfulfilled, he gained another chance when Hulk stormed into Gamma Base, searching for his lost love Jarella, who had been cryogenically frozen. Later, it was revealed that Talbot had fired a special ray gun that transported the Hulk to the Microverse. This caused his relationship with Betty to be further strained. Gamma Base had it's funds cut by the government and Talbot decided to finish his long battle with the Hulk by piloting the War Wagon, a specialized device designed for one purpose - kill the Incredible Hulk.

    Death

After a long battle with The Hulk in Japan while piloting the War Wagon, Talbot lost the fight and a violent lava burst completely covered the War-Wagon which cost him his life.

    Seeming Return

Years later, (In The Incredible Hulk issue 607) Betty and Talbot are suddenly both seen alive. When they reveal themselves to Bruce Banner, Banner shoots Talbot with an EMP gun (Electro Magnetic Pulse, which destroys all technology that has circuits or anything like that). He did this because he thought Talbot was clearly an LMD since he has been dead so long. After being shot, Banner is surprised to find Glenn Talbot still functioning, thinking he really isn't an LMD. Because of this, it was thought that Talbot was truly back. He was even suspected to have been the Red Hulk. Eventually it is revealed that the Glenn Talbot that returned was indeed a modified LMD unit, which was eventually deactivated by General Ross, whom turned out to be the new Red Hulk.

    Chaos War

The real Glenn Talbot returned to life for a little while during the events of Choas War, when a number of deceaced people and heroes returned from the dead by the hands of Chaos King. Eventually, Glenn was put to rest once more when the advisory that had brought him back, was defeated.

    Abilities and Skills

Talbot has displayed numerous times his military training with firearms to hand-to-hand combat and is in almost perfect health.
