Remember when we saw those trailers and posters for G.I. Joe: Retaliation. Then the movie was held back for re-shoots and for 3-D conversion. The original trailers did look pretty good, a definite improvement over the first film. Now Paramount has released a new poster to remind us that movie is coming, again.

According to the official information:

In this sequel, the G.I. JOE team is not only fighting their mortal enemy COBRA; they are forced to contend with threats from within the government that jeopardize their very existence.

Word is some scenes were reshot and added to give Channing Tatum more screen time. We can also see in the new poster that Bruce Willis is getting the center stage.

The movie will be in theaters on March 29, 2013. I will definitely be checking it out. How about you?

The first one was a bit of a letdown, but overall, fun to watch. I'm a big Willis fan. Idk. It's a toss up. I'll probably wait till this makes it's way to the dollar theater...

A couple of questions. I know who all the guys are supposed to be but I'm thinking the girls are supposed to be Lady Jaye and Jinx? If so, Jinx is good but Jaye's hair is too long.

Second. Is that supposed to be a F.A.N.G. in the upper right?

Could you clue me in on who each actor is supposed to be playing, I know Snake-Eyes and Stowrmshadow and Tatum is Duke right? Other than those Ive got no idea. I used to be a big Joe fan back in the day but they dont really give you much to go on as far as their looks go.

Yes the girl in the red is supposed to be Jinx, and the girl on the right is suppose to be Lady Jaye.

I saw the first movie...ok

I'll view this to...just see all the changes since Channing Tatum is the only thing keeping the movie alive....going and has become the ONLY SELLING POINT OF THIS MOVIE...WOW..

...he's ok...but damn...really.

The people playing Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow and Lady Jaye are why I'll go and see this.

I actually liked the first one alot. I know it wasn't great, but it was good. I am excited about this, but I am curious as to who Bruce Willis is supposed to be?

@AlKusanagi: I think its funny they delayed it for his "I gotta be in every movie in the world" punk ass. I don't necessarily mind him as an actor but come on! It's funny how people fawn over him. I will watch it regardless though. I am looking forward to more Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow love.

Bruce Willis is in it? Ah, BUMMER!! I was interested, but if he's going to show, then never mind. I try to avoid as much of Bruce Willis as I possibly can.

Also is Christopher Eccleston going to be in it? Cause that's the only reason I would care.

I still do know why they delay the movie....just don't get it.

The rumors were that the movie did not score well with the test audiences. Other rumors say they increased the scenes of Channing Tatum to take advantage of the popularity of Channing Tatum.

Word is they couldn't compete with the Avengers movie, nuff said make mines marvel! I like the Joe's but tthe truth is the truth!

I'll see it, but my expectations are not excessively high.

if only they have shown it sooner. Who cares about 3D. 3D cost more and I don't really watch movies if its 3D. As long Snake-Eyes get more action then. It'll might be ok but still lost most of my interest cause of pushing it back just to make it 3D.

You know, Transformers were dumb movies, but they were were all big, dumb, mindless fun and Peter Cullen at least, was awesome.

With G.I. Joe, they royally screwed the pooch from the beginning. From making the team international, to weird power suits, to making the Baroness-Duke-Cobra Commander connection, to telling us CC's real name, to Channing Tatum being in the movie, it was just awful awful awful. Even with Bruce Willis and the Rock this movie doesn't look any better.

I saw this the other day and the poster looks great. Still don't know if pushing back the release date is going to help this, though. :/

Definitely going to check it out...looks much better than the first one.

@iaconpoint: You know they call the Rock the movie savior. He boosted the sales of the dwindling fast and furious series. The Rock also made Journey To The Center better than when Fraiser was at the helm. The best of the Mummy series The Return and Scorpion King were the best of those series of movies. You also have Bruce Willis who has a certain presence about him, especially involving action movies. He was pretty ruthless in Looper, but you still felt sorry for him. I agree that Channing Tatum is kind of meh. He was alright in the 21 Jump Street remake but Jonah Hill was a little bit better. I think Chris Hemsworth would have been a better Duke, he's good at take charge characters. All the revelations and backstories about the cobra commander were unnecessary. I think it would have made him more menacing not knowing where he came from and what was driving him. He could have just been this enigmatic figure set to rule the world. Now you will have someone trying to appeal to his humanity and all that cliche' weep for the villain crap. Anyway Bruce Willis and Dwayne Johnson are good adds for this flick and it should be a little more interesting this time around because of them.

Pass. 3-D conversion was a stupid reason to delay a movie I was already skeptical about.

I am looking forward to this. If it's better than the first two, closer to the source material, and if The Rock delivers (and you know he will) I'll be a happy camper.

This is the lamest movie poster ever......No really ever...... Wow is there a liscenese out there from my childhood that the film industry won't destroy??? First Transformers now GI Joe.... What next? the SilverHawks?

they shouldnt have revealed stormshadow was coming back in this film, even though i did not enjoy the last one it would have been a genuine surprise if he popped outta the sky n was like... "hey, didnt kill me :P"
