I have to give this to the representation of Gambit in the Wolverine movie, I don´t give that film much credit and I hate the way Gambit was portrayed, but I have to say I think the way they presented his powers was kinda cool and something the comics should pick up on. Maybe a combination of both would make sense.

Yea... I don't really see any difference. Everything he did in the movie he can (and has) done in the comics.

Well, in the comics the cards explode--and look like an explosion. In the movie it was straight up colored kinetic force, no real 'michael bay' explosions. That's the only difference.

Though, I did like when he hit wolvie with the deck. That's about it.

His powers were sort of different. In the movie....for unexplained reasons, he could make the cards move....with his mind I guess??
