    Biography

    Gal was born in April 30, 1985 in Petah Tikvah, Israel. At age 18, Gadot won the 2004 Miss Israel beauty pageant[ and next competed in the Miss Universe 2004 pageant in Ecuador. She first began a career as a model, before landing a minor role in the Fast and Furious starting in 2009. She was later cast by Zach Snyder in a supporting role as Wonder Woman/Diana Prince in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Since then she worked with Patty Jenkins on Wonder Woman solo films as a star vehicle franchise for herself. The tonal feel of the solo movies feels radically different from Snyder's Justice League films, going for a more child friendly approach no longer carrying a sword to decapitate her foes.
