    Origin

    Fred's Bed first appeared in The Topper and was later reprinted in The Beano in 2007. The strip proved popular enough that new material was created. The comic strip continues to be published today in the Beano, written and drawn by Hunt Emerson.

    Character Evolution

    In the original Fred's Bed, when Fred crawled under his bed his final destination was completely random and unknown to him. In the current comic strips Fred can control his bed via his alarm clock and travel anywhere in time.
