    Frankenstein VS. A Planet 0

Frankenstein has been a series that has pleased me every single issue. This issue is no different and I'm still enjoy the characters and the plot is also really good to me.  THE GOOD: I really like the art. It makes the art looks sketchy but it looks good and action packed. We also get more information on what is going on with this monster planet. This issue we get a fight scene that is ended early by the secretive Khalis. We also get to see different islands filled with different monsters. I th...

    FRANKENSTEIN WILL NEVER YIELD! 1

The Good: The framang device used on the first page was INCREDIBLY effective. It kicked me right back into high gear for enjoying this. I'm REALLY feeling the team dynamic the most in this issue. The banter between Frankenstein and his wife-EX-Wife. Hrrn. Right, EX-wife. Where was I? Right. The banter between the 2 green people is reminiscent of all the best 'divorced people who still like each other forced to team up' kind of dialogues. Nina is more timid and logical, Velcoro and Griffith are f...

    I think we're missing an issue 3

I feel like there is a missing issue... Let's review...Issue #2 ends with ...Frankenstein and Mazersky travel to the monster planet where they find a horde of monsters and lady frankenstein fighting them. We know nothing about this world or what's going on other than the monsters apparently want to come to earth.Issue #3 begins with Frankenstein, all the creature commandos, several scientists, Father Time, Lady Frankenstein are all on the monster planet battling monsters they've all agreed to su...

Insane is most definitely not one of them 0

It seems as though almost across the board that this is the month that the lesser known titles of the new 52 hit the wall after in some cases a decent start.  This issue unfortunately doesn't break that trend at all.  There is still a decent level of character development occurring here but the story is hard to follow at times, from Khalis' inexplicable power outburst to the attack by Frank on the monster mountain which apparently came out of nowhere.  Generally speaking in comics heroes pose so...

It took a revived corpse to hit the broad side of a mountain. 0

Review for Frankenstein, Agent of S.H.A.D.E.The Story: The team fights a lot of monsters, one that is a size of a mountain and a strange message arrives.Thoughts: God this series so much fun. The battles feel big and extremely gruesome with Frank just cutting monsters up. We get to know more about Khalis in that he is a magical being and that S.H.A.D.E might be in some shaddy buisness (no apologies for the pun). We get to see more of Bride and I love her, at first I thought Frank was the straigh...

Amazing action, but sadly it just isn't enough 0

This is another one I picked up after an endorsement from Linkara of Atop The Fourth Wall. I'm trying to use the new 52 to expand my horizons a bit so I thought I'd pick up a more unorthodox title seeing as how my regular titles didn't come out with any new issues this week. This book was.... interesting. Essentially we have Frankenstein, his Ex-wife, a Vampire, a Wolfman, a Mummy, and a Fish lady on a alien planet fighting giant monsters. That's basically it. I could go into detail, but really ...
