What current X-Men characters do you want to see get in the limelight a bit more? For me personally, I would like to see Gambit make a comeback since X-Factor is about to get cancelled and I would also like to see Colossus, Jubilee and Psylocke get in the limelight.
What X-Men characters you want to see in limelight?
@koays: I feel the same way too, especially concerning Polaris. She hasn't been in any major X-event for years now and it would be interesting to see her actually interact with the main X-Men.
@rabbitearsblog: Yea, Im hoping she would return to the JGS following X-factor, since it'd be interesting to see her teaching or interacting with the Storm/Rachel team.
@koays: Yeah, that would be pretty interesting! I also would like to see Colossus interact with the JGS (that's assuming he's apart of that now, although I'm not sure since I haven't been keeping up with Amazing X-Men).
@rabbitearsblog: Yea he seems like he's in Amazing for the long haul and he's had some good moments so far. Adding Gambit or Polaris to the line up to replace wolverine would be satisfying and give us a solid team of Veterans at the school.
@koays: I agree!
I always have an urge to see Gambit in the spotlight, but it never works out. He seems to be a character that seems to be interesting than actually interesting when he's talking.
Colossus seems to always be around but never gets the spotlight. The news about him/Juggs in Amazing gives me hope that he'll be around more.
@hopesummersforthefuture: I agree about the X-Kids (or New X-Men in this case). It's surprising that they haven't been in the spotlight for years.
I would personally like to see the Uncanny x men kids take some spotlight, I know Tempus is going to be featured in the annual and Hijack was part of a four part arc but Benjamin Deeds just had one issue and Triage has had no character focus, so I would love to see their stories...
@rabbitearsblog: pixie had a solo
Cyclops.
Really then if we do it that way i say :
"My God" Jean
Toad's has good powers but people make fun of them and he's become a joke. He should be an X-Man. He was one of the people who saved the world in House of M, he was one of the 198, and actually saved a lot of people when the sentinels attacked before everyone relocated to Utopia, recently saved all of the relevant young mutants from the hellfire club. Why they won't give him a chance to become a real hero is beyond me.
@hopesummersforthefuture: Oh yeah! I forgot Pixie had a solo. I think she was one of the few New X-Men who had a solo other than X-23.
@teerack: It seems that there are a lot of X-Men characters that have a huge potential to be major players in the stories, but most of the writers don't seem to give them a chance to really shine.
@rabbitearsblog: I kind of really disagree with you. I think not counting Wolverine and Cyclops the entire X-Men franchise is build around Storm, Emma Frost, Kitty Pryde, Jean Grey, Rachel Grey, Psylocke, Hope Summers, and Mystique. More then any other X-Men characters.
@teerack: Oh no, I'm talking about characters who don't get the spotlight that often like Dazzler, Toad, Blob, Marrow and others, not the characters who are usually in an X-Men book.
Definitely Colossus. I'd also like to see Gambit join with the Jean Grey School for High Learning. That could be fun.
@fabulosity: Oh yeah, what happened to Northstar?

He's barely with Alpha flight. At lease for quite sometime.
These are the three X-Men that I'd like to see elevated to a higher profile. I know Storm's a really important X-Man and that she's always around in some incarnation, but I don't thinks she's been written well since the Claremont days. She's got an incredible power set and she's got one of the best character designs in comic books -- I think she could potentially raise to the same level of prominence as Wonder Woman, if writers could begin to utilize her properly. Gambit is another character that has tons of potential . . . but writers never really did much to differentiate him from Wolverine and all the other sexy badass loners in comics. And I do think that he's different, and that he has a unique story to contribute to the X-Men. And with Angel, I think he's a character that's been done beautifully in the past (especially in Uncanny X-Force). For some reason, writers have kind of thrown his character away, now that he has amnesia. I think that's a shame, since there's been such good groundwork laid out. He's a character that's really gone through the ringer, time and again. Why would anyone want to throw that away?
@zdub327: I agree with these three characters, especially with Angel and Gambit. It just seems like writers don't know what to do with them anymore and I wish that they were more prominent in this series.
They shouldn't have killed Wolverine. He was too underdeveloped. He needed the limelight and a bit more exposure.

I know right I wanted him to be in every book from the Amazing Spider-man to Storm's solo book :-(
1) Storm (You can never have enough QUALITY Storm!)
2) Rachel-- too many missed opportunities with her. Practically ignored in major plots
3) Selene
4) Sage
5) Lifeguard
6) Toad
7) Maddie/ Goblin Queen
Elixir! :D
I miss that guy, it was good to see him again in Logan Legacy 1, even if it wasn't in the best circumstances.
And Angel. Show that he can be more without Archangel.
I want Mystique to be done again... Jennifer Lawrence's portrayal of Mystique is her weakest performance as an actress (and I really like and respect her for other roles that she's done).
Gambit. His solo series before X-Factor was great...cancelled too soon.
I would love to see a new X-Force, that could tie in to a movie. Gambit and Deadpool are getting solo flicks, so having them on board makes sense. Psylocke is in the new X-Men movie, so she would be a good fit (everyone seems excited for the actress as well). Archangel could be used too. Deathlock? Punisher?
