Extraordinary X-Men #3 Lettered Preview
IDK this looks pretty good, I mean its only a few pages so HOPEFULLY we will delve into the Sinister plot a bit and more into getting the team together but we are dealing with the whole Hell spawn attack and seeing some students involved good to see Anole for example so yea Im still optimistic we will figure out a few more things this issue
Just because it advertises the action does not necessarily mean it will be a action issue. Action tends to be the number one thing fans like to.complain about there not being enough of, so it makes since for them.to advertise it. Hopefully the story will follow what's going on with Sinister, Colossus, and Logan and Jean just as much or more so than it follows the battle that storm and the X-Men are having. I think it looks good.
its really just not that interesting to me at all. It should be but Im really just... I guess over it at this point. I actually have more fun getting everyone's take on things and reactions and debates, and dream team line-ups and thoughts on these boards than in reading the actual comics these days
@immolation: Fair points, and maybe its just because i've been thinking about it since issue 2 came out,,,but i feel like we can just skip to the end of the fight and just find out whether limbo is inside of Magik. The preview doesn't help either since it's an awkward fight that can't really change or do anything special, because nothing has been established in the story yet.
Really just depends on whats in the issue, but i just feel like we've kinda already been aware of most of the events in the first 2 books (Sinister/OML/Jean/Nightcrawler) since september, so having a preview for a predictable fight doesn't excite me.

Hey does anyone else feel like Lemire and the X-team may be moving toward the BotA future timeline?
I mean we've got
-Mutant Genocide
- Magik and Colossus on friendly terms while she struggles with her powers
- Teen Jean starting a "heart of the team" journey that could arguably backfire her into Xorna role if she fails
- Giant Sentinel on the X-Team (Not really counting this, but all we'd need is for it to baby sit Shogo and I'm trademarking it as predicted)
I mean really this is all stuff that we got from the backstory of BotA....and while the event sucked, the background (minus Xavier/Mystique/Logan) was actually pretty interesting as far as potential futures to avert goes.
i want it now!!!!! lol
Top 10 things said at thanksgiving....
Looks pretty good. I'm interested in seing more power development from the team and glad the story is gaining a little more momentum. Not too long ago people were complaining about the lack of momentum in Bendis plot. So I think this is a refreshing step in the right direction from Lemire. We've been watching he X-men get their ass handed to them for the past few years now, It's nice to see them functioning as a team and being competent.
This Looks Very Good though I can already tell Jean and Logan will be the stars of this whole story. Anyway I like the teamwork and the power display really good. I also like the art. I really like this book better than the X-men who constantly bicker and complain and pointing fingers.
Extraordinary X-men so far so good. :-)
@stormphoenix: Lemire said that Colossus and Magik are the stars.
@sprior93: That must make you very excited. It does sound good though. It is rare to get a book that has "Logan," Jean, and Storm yet focus on someone else.
@immolation: Indeed. Colossus has been wallpaper for too long.
@stormphoenix: Lemire said that Colossus and Magik are the stars.
That's fine with me I have NO problem with that.

@koays: :PPPP
@mcklayn: You just said what everyone that read @koays post was thinking. Lol
Lol keep in mind that as the originator of the "Hope is evil, Bishop was right" part of the "Dark Messiah" concept....I win no matter which theory is right.
