Jimmy Olsen perhaps?
Who is Superman's best friend?
Wonder Woman, maybe Dick Grayson, Steel.
Dick Grayson?
@danhimself: Yeah. Their friendship is like Batman's but without all the mistrust mixed with some uncle/nephew relationship while he was Robin and early Nightwing.
Wonder Woman? I mean... unless you're bad at relationships your girlfriend should be your best friend.
Thought this was Pre-52.
Why do you think that? It doesn't say it is anywhere. /shrug.
Krypto is everything in the N52. He looks more feral , but he's still the best friend a guy could have. Pak, Kuder and the colorist are the most perfect creative team Superman has ever had in the N52.
i laughed so hard when Krypto brought him that leg.
In the New 52. Batman!
Actually he said it himself more than once, that his best friend was Batman. And in a way its always been so. Jimmy Olsen was someone that like Lois had a tendency to get in trouble and that's why he gave him the signal-watch, not because he was Clark/Kal best friend. If he was, then Clark would have told him that he was Superman, but he never did and never does. In fact in the New 52 Jimmy and Clark have a good friendship but no where near best friends.
With Batman, Supes talks about anything and everything he needs to talk about, and they even work has a team, more has superman and batman, than has Clark and Bruce, but even then there are some rare exceptions.
@sanohibiki: WHAT?! I can't believe you'd say that! Why would you say he likes Bruce more than his perfect, beautiful, demi-goddess girlfriend Diana? I know I don't, I don't even like having male friends at all, so I don't. I know he and Bruce are close, but above Diana?! Are you under the weather today?! Unbelievable! >:(

Oh God, that’s just … (Shudder). Don’t twist my words like that!..
Basically I mean that Bruce is currently Clark’s best pal, Diana is his girlfriend; that’s two totally different things.
With Bruce Clark has that competition/helping each other when there is need friendship/ easy rapport; Clark isn’t shy of talking with him about his troubles, asking for advice, etc. Instead, in early SM/WW issues he didn’t want to burden Diana with his troubles, wanted to solve them on his own. It didn’t work well and hopefully during Zod/Faora arc he got through his thick Kryptonian skull that Diana can take care of herself and help him in the same time :)
@sanohibiki: Okay, glad you clarified you meant Diana as his girlfriend and Bruce as his best friend because you REALLY scared me, I thought the world was going mad. D:
Diana is Clark's life coach and drill sargent at the same time, giving him smoochies for being a good boy when he does something good for himself instead of being a bitch. I say her.
@sanohibiki: Okay, glad you clarified you meant Diana as his girlfriend and Bruce as his best friend because you REALLY scared me, I thought the world was going mad. D:
Wrong
@night4345: Get away! Far, far away!
Batman.

Wrong
Just saying - Batman is kissing Superman, not the other way around. Supe's looks pretty surprised there, and Batman has clearly grabbed his head to pull him in for the kiss.
@wishiwassuperman: Fine
@wishiwassuperman: Fine
lol, OK - he's not necessarily surprised looking in this one - but Bat's is clearly still the instigator.
@wishiwassuperman: FINE
@wishiwassuperman: FINE
Better... ;)
The real question is - why does anyone have the time (or motivation for that matter) to draw these pictures? Is there nothing better they could be doing? Mysteries of life I guess......
@redwingx: Hehe
@wishiwassuperman: Some people like the pairing and draw or they pay someone else to draw it for them.
I've always seen Superman more as being everyone else's best friend.
Thats really lonely when you think about it...
It is. I think Superman is one of the most loneliest characters I have ever come across.
Or Batman.
In old cannon (Pre Flashpoint) Bruce and Diana have at times both been described as being his best friend so either one of them.

The heck is wrong with this thread…
Well, at least that that’s slight improvement on Batman’s part (considering that he prefers young male sidekicks).
And well, that’s one more reason to like New-52.
