I think she was an interesting choice (I might not have picked her though)
What did you guys think of Amy Adams as Lois Lane?
@bornonamonday: Complete agree with this ^ Adams looks too old, I always imagined her as slightly older that superman, maybe early 30's but amy adams is 40 in less than a year, I think they cast her too old and shes weird looking....+ no purple coat or black hair?
The hair makes lois lane, lois lane!
She was all right.
People complaining about something as silly as hair color though are silly.
She was just ok. Part of that may have to do with the fact that im just totally tired of Lois and constantly seeing that romance, and her tired "feisty" reporter bit.
Also, Costner, Crowe, Lane, Shanon, and even Fishburne were all screen stealers, insanely attention grabbing.

The whole cast was pretty much excellent.
Though I will say I had a slight issue with Perry White's writing. I mean as someone who as just as much journalistic drive and passion as Lois, I think he'd want to get the truth out just as much as she did.
No problems with how Fishbourne portrayed it though.
I prefer Erica Durance
Still the best live-action Lois to me, lol. Not even close. She was amazing in that role - wish we could have gotten more of her.
I think she was ok. Her character will probably get fleshed out more in Justice League...... *ahem* I mean MOS2.
I love Amy Adams she's a great actress however she looked to old to play his love interest he looks late 20s and she looked early 40 I know Lois is older than Clark but it just looked wrong you could see her wrinkles it just didn't look like they looked good together. She did a good job as her part I like a little more sassy Lois Lane but she did well but I didn't see how she could be his love interest! They didn't look cute together.
Definitely the least irritating Lois I have ever seen. In fact she's really...nice. Pretty much as sweet and saccharin as you could get with a Lois Lane. I did get a little fed up the way they forced her on the audience at times though with dragging her on the ship for no good reason and then suddenly she drops in out of nowhere to stroke Superman's head after he kills Zod. So by herself a vast improvement over other Loises unless you want a Lois with more fire...well she kinda isn't that Lois.
Paired with Cavill as a romantic partner? Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Seriously they are pretty dull together on screen. They do nothing for each other. I suspect she'd spark more with Affleck because they look about the same age. Her dynamic with Cavill is like she is someone who is there to mother him. Nothing sexy about it. The out of the blue romance angle, I don't get. People going oh he saved her life and people make out for less...this wasn't a night club and she is supposed to be a reporter with some ethical code. What she make'd out with police and firemen too? That was stupid. They could have waited for the next movie to develop "romance".
i liked this lois. at least she knows he is superman. they ignored that crap about her not recognizing his as superman even though he only wears glasses.

@lilben42: I found her a nicer character than what she was in comics most of the time. Not Erica Durance though.
@winters: definitely, I liked how she figured it out herself. PC Lois didn't accomplish that.

Nothing can beat Durance's Lois.
Meh.
