Zack Snyder and Christopher Nolan's "Man of Steel" brought in $125.1 million since Thursday night, according to The Hollywood Reporter. From Friday to Sunday, the film brought in an estimated $113.1 million, enough to top the $110.3 million made by 2010's "Toy Story 3" to become the top opening weekend of all time for June.
Man of Steel Sets a New Record For June Openings
@biteme_fanboy: I seen the film again (in 2D this time) and although I still find the end pretty shocking I enjoyed it overall a lot more
The really important thing a lot of people are missing is the fact that the only movie that ISNT a sequel that made more money opening weekend is the Hunger Games, when the Thursday screenings are counted. Thats huge, and seems to bode well IMO. This movie deserves it, best superhero film ive ever seen.
