@lichter: He's got the voice down. I just dont know if he has the right build for it in live action though. I always thought Stephen Lang would've made a great Deathstroke a few years back. But now...I just don't know.
Writing Confessions
After watching the Arkham Knight Harley Quinn DLC, tempted to just watch all of the DLCs cause I mean what the hell? That's like ten minutes of Gameplay-wise and the boss fight is awful.
@nikoleta_strix: @last_guardian:
Just be glad I ended it now before I disappointed you later.
@thisisgonnahurt: Is that Doc Savage?
@joe_locke: i finished it and knew it wasn't true , But i cant let a potential spoiler go. I would of bought a plane ticket and brought my best pair of ass kicking boots with me.
Yeah I was trying to come up with like a classic pulp adventure character like Race from Jonny Quest who just sticks it solo, hunts treasure, goes on dangerous journeys to forgotten lands, fights monstrous beasts with his bare hands, that sort of thing.
Might come up with something a bit more solid and hit you up in Shangri La for training or something.
@thisisgonnahurt: Oh that's pretty cool! Can't wait to see you in action.
Awesome. You're more than welcome.
@thisisgonnahurt: Fun fact: 'tesák' means 'fang in Czech.
@thisisgonnahurt: Bruce Jenner.
@thisisgonnahurt: Jonas Jenner?
I kid.
Jonas Tesagg sounds hardcore yo
@_dirge_: Ohhhh. Definitely a tough choice. Since DC is giving us an older and more brutal take on batman, I feel like the same should go for deathstroke. An older slade as portrayed in injustice would be a good mold. As for the actor? A fit stephen Lang would be cool. He has the intensity of a villain and isn't famous enough to give a solid expectation of typecasting. Although he is a bit older than ideal.

Injustice Deathstroke is like the most peaceful version so far LOL
@_vex_: Yes...Evident by those periodic breaks I've seen you taking.
@_vex_: As an aside, it's good to see you back.
I feel hyped enough to try to hit all the posts one after another, but I gotta get to class. Part of me keeps telling myself, "I'm not even enrolled yet," but I don't wanna be left behind when I am.

I got a guest visiting for a few days. The presence of other people is generally bad for my posting productivity [and overall CV presence]. Wanted to at least get the major one out of the way before arrival.
CM Punk looked pretty bad in his latest training video but aside from that they spend a surprising amount of time standing around and resting at Roufusport. That might be okay for injury prone fighters like Pettis but to really hone your skills you need to be more focused and throw a lot more reps. Looking at the way they train there it seems to me that its a bad camp for a beginner like Punk. Even professional fencers hit a thousand reps of their core moves every day and they aren't fighting for millions with elite camps behind them.
Train like a half-serious gym bro, end up with half-serious gym bro skills (unless you are exceptionally talented).
InFAMOUS 2 still the best soundtrack for writing my posts.
Bertrand's theme is pure win.
@pyrogram: I loved the first season when they were still in prison but that might just be because Wentworth is as hot as his name is lame.
So I think Prison Break season 1 and 2 (perhaps 3, but less so) might be my favorite TV series of all time. For some reason the first 2 seasons clicked with me perfectly.
I remember being at the edge of my seat every damn episode early on...
Then they escaped and it turned into something else entirely. I wasn't feeling it.
@last_guardian: Season one with the escape, IMO, was one of the best damn TV storylines of all time. The writing was superb! Season 2 was just as good for me, the twists.... I mean, it has more twists than Game of Thrones in a single episode LOL! And they weren't scared of killing off the main cast (until season 2). After season 3 when they started going after the Company, it did go downhill. Season 5 looks promising though as it's all about breaking out again.
@ivana_strigidae: LOL! He was pretty charming when he was younger back then. I found it funny they got the brothers actor to be the fire guy in Legends of Tomorrow, those two love acting with each other xD
@pyrogram: Oh is Season 5 the one where they have to break out of the Columbian prison? Yeah, I was totally burnt out on it by then. It's probably a way different experience for you since you're binging it.
@last_guardian: That was season 3, it ended with season 4. They are contiuing the show and it's scheduled to be released in 2017, with season 5. I can't imagine watching it live. Must have been a burn out for sure lol
With work, school, and now football/fantasy football season, I'm not sure how I can continue this activity level...But I'll try.
Whoever the next President is needs to retaliate on behalf of Apple (along with Google and Fiat and all the rest).
@pyrogram: Oh yeah. I heard about that. I'll probably give it a watch. Maybe they can recapture some of that magic, unlike the recent X-Files reboot.
@last_guardian: It has the original cast + producers/writers so I'm hoping so. All the originals involved give me faith.

This sounds weird, what happened? xD [The EU saying give us money thing?]
@pyrogram: The EU has been targeting American tech companies for a while now, both to extract money and to artificially boost the competitiveness of their struggling native tech companies. The 13 billion dollar bill to Apple is the biggest shot they've ever fired and in this case they've gone far enough that there needs to be some measure of retaliation from the oval office (its the role of the executive branch to deal with foreign policy).
@pyrogram: It can't be tax evasion when you work out a deal on how much taxes you should pay with the government. Apple went to Ireland because Ireland offered them the best deal on their taxes. 55 million is 55 million more than nothing, which is what they would have got (roughly lol) if Apple went elsewhere.
If I want to buy a car and you offer me the lowest price on the car, so I buy from you, I haven't defrauded you or evaded paying you a fair price. You decided that price was better than nothing so you sold the car at that price. Its between me and you.
Then someone else comes along and decides I have to pay you X number of dollars because you sold the car too cheaply?
Apple didn't evade anything. They looked at taxes like a market, they worked out the best deal they could and they held up their end of the bargain.
