The Outcasts(CVnU Team Thread)

Outcasts. What do you hear when I say this? Usually the term is seen in a negative light, but I see it differently. I see it as a word that a lot of people can associate with. The old man who has not gotten used to the technological changes of the current generation. The kid who only talks to his or her imaginary friends on the playground. An alien lost without a home world. A man trapped in an unfeeling robotic shell. Outcast is a word that unites so many people, all whom are drastically different. Together we Outcasts can save the innocent and protect the world just as well as the perfect Supermen.

The House of Strange

The House of Strange, on the outside, looks like an old house made around the early 1900s, but the inside is far from usual. The inside of the house is a pocket dimension. It can hold an entire city, if one could fit an entire city inside the front door.

Rules

1. This is a team for heroes, so no villains.

2. This team will be comprised of outcasts. Not like a Batman style outcast, more of a I have a black hole for a face kind of outcast.

3. This team will also double as a counseling group.

@michaelzanzibar_: This is the account I would probably use. Her damage is she is a sociopath by definition and is numb to emotion. She also has intense PTSD from her childhood she represses.

The android looked up at the ceiling and Roosevelt was standing up on it. Or would the correct term be down on it. This subject mattered little. "No you are on the ceiling. I am walking on the ground like a person normally would". A man/robot could only deal with this so much in day.

He decided to go watch some TV, but he was unsure of what to watch. He didn't really like football, the basketball game was on later, and cooking shows only remind Michael of how good food tastes. Watching a show on how how aliens built the pyramids would be good. They were always quite funny. "Hey Roosevelt I am going to watch some TV, why don't you join me you weirdo".

Sal reached for a nearby door, and as if to spite him for his previous statement, the House shifted the room's innards to something too terrifying to even describe in mere words. The bandaged man closed it slowly, turned around, and understandably lost any color in his transparent, wrapped face.

"I regret everything,"

A simple solution would be to engage in his negative form and fall down, catching his comatose body while doing so. But this would ignore the fact that he was still up, not down. Everything that would instead be considered down would be up, and vice-versa. That is how reverse-gravity worked, after all. The nexus of confusion served to only confound and infuriate Sal even more than he was to begin with.

He sat on the ceiling, or the floor in his case, and pulled his knees to his chest in a desperate bid to pretend all of this away.

Once Mike turned on the TV, however, a static charge leaped through the boundaries of the living area and kicked Sal in the teeth, knocking him back down to the floor-floor instead of just the ceiling-floor. He muttered a commendable "ouch" before standing up in the right direction now.

"Find a channel with bad B-movies from the 60s and I'm good. Preferably with two robots and a janitor talking over them."

Are we treating this like a location thread? -_-,

@michaelzanzibar_: @ironspiderchan45: Well I guess it's whatever the team wants for the space. But they typically aren't lengthy IC posts, if anything small bits of banter and OOC chatter between team members.

Sense we have the team now we must find a rp or something to get in to
