Personally, I'd love to play as Kain, Solid Snake and Spider-Man. A lot of fun to write those three in a story together.

Would there be a reason why all the characters from these mediums came together or would they just be there and we wing it?

Sorry I missed this earlier, but I think that could be an interesting obstacle. Some would search out rings of power for themselves while others would have to deal with the Lanterns wrecking havoc. Things like that, I know there have been a number of people lately running around with GL type powers/looks.
