Helen stopped at the door and knocked. Angeni opened the door, and smiled when she saw her daughter. "Hello my brave little girl. Come in." She smiled. Helen always loved being in her mother's room in the headquarters. It was filled with old looking art work and had swords and shields mounted on her walls. One of her favorite things to do was to listen to her mother tell stories about the gods, and foolish mortals who would upset them. "Mother?" She questioned with a frown. "Yes?" Helena asked. "Are you going to free father?". Helena didn't know exactly what to say. "Yes, I promise." She knelt down to her daughter's level and hugged her tightly.
We need to get this thread back in running. :P

Sentinel Shield.
@agentxx: Well when stuff doesn't work out just move on. Comic Vine is best played like a shotgun. A bunch of tries is bound to hit something hehe.
What kinda thing are you interested in doing? For a while there you had a fairly active company thread, and stuff. That was going well it seemed.
@agentxx: Truth. But that can be good! IC conflict can make for good RP, if your into it.
Hehe, yeah no joke. That's something you can turn into RP though.
Think of everything as an opertunity. Every enemy is a chance to show off your role playing skills, every setback a chance to display your ability to sell, and major problems are a chance to re-invent yourself.
When things go bad figure out why (the real why, be honest with yourself) and improve based on that knowledge. Everybodies got to build themselves into what they want to be.
I throw Liberty into anything, against anyone, because I'm confident in my ability to role play it well, and good or bad IC, its all good OOC. (Lack of time/energy/interest is the one thing that can hold me back OOCly, but such is life)
@agentxx: I'm not saying you should!
But what I am saying is OOCly you should look at things in terms of chances for role play. Lets say you wage war against Impero, and he totally smashes you. Calls in all his allies (of which there are many), and wrecks your company, blows up all your stuff, and so forth.
That isn't bad. ICly its bad, but OOCly it can be good. You can display roleplaying abilities, you can demonstrait ability to sell attacks, and so forth
And it gives you a chance to start over, re-invent your character and so forth.
To be clear I'm not saying you should tackle Impero, after all it might not be fun for either of you. (But it might, I have no opinion on the matter) I'm just saying that bad things IC are not bad things OOC.
As an example I plan to have Liberty lose her divine powers sometime. I've been planning it for a long time. She'll have to rely on her technology, her enhanced physcial body and her wits. She'll be forced onto the run by her powerful enemies, have to scrouch and scrap to survive, and so forth. For Liberty this is very bad, but OOCly for me its very good. It'll probably be a long arc because I'll enjoy it a lot.
It'll give me a chance to do something new and fresh, give others a chance to come after me when my powers are lowered (I know Gambler is waiting in the wings), and I'll get to use a She-Hulk look heheh.
