Nova Steel's advantage is also its disadvantage. While it makes an excellent power source if you can obtain its heat it also doesn't cool down, which means that heat has to go somewhere. That is why for Nova Steel powered things there is a Nova Steel core. The Core features materials that can withstand the direct heat of the Nova Steel Core (which is never heated to the full extent of the Core's resistance due to the possibility it might go beyond it). This Core harnesses the heat to make energy, in most Cores it converts it to electricity vaguely like a Thermionic generator. The electricity is then transferred to the output and into whatever it would be being used for. Even a small and averagely heated Nova Steel core (The size of two AA batteries) Could fully power a drone that was 4 feet long. Very importantly is the fact they don't seem to run out of energy yet, meaning this is unlimited time of functionality.
The cooling system is in every core as an emergency function and in many systems to keep the core safe without letting it get heated, it also allows a core to become invisible to thermo scanning as long as all energy is converted for cooling the system and Nova Steel. The cooling system will immediately activate if the Nova Steel is exceeding temperatures the materials can handle, keeping it at a safe temperature but also not wasting energy.
The Core's and cooling systems are not for public sale, as of yet, but are already being sold to some hospitals for powering some of their equipment.
