Nova Steel's advantage is also its disadvantage. While it makes an excellent power source if you can obtain its heat it also doesn't cool down, which means that heat has to go somewhere. That is why for Nova Steel powered things there is a Nova Steel core. The Core features materials that can withstand the direct heat of the Nova Steel Core (which is never heated to the full extent of the Core's resistance due to the possibility it might go beyond it). This Core harnesses the heat to make energy, in most Cores it converts it to electricity vaguely like a Thermionic generator. The electricity is then transferred to the output and into whatever it would be being used for. Even a small and averagely heated Nova Steel core (The size of two AA batteries) Could fully power a drone that was 4 feet long. Very importantly is the fact they don't seem to run out of energy yet, meaning this is unlimited time of functionality.

The cooling system is in every core as an emergency function and in many systems to keep the core safe without letting it get heated, it also allows a core to become invisible to thermo scanning as long as all energy is converted for cooling the system and Nova Steel. The cooling system will immediately activate if the Nova Steel is exceeding temperatures the materials can handle, keeping it at a safe temperature but also not wasting energy.

The Core's and cooling systems are not for public sale, as of yet, but are already being sold to some hospitals for powering some of their equipment.

OOC: Had to get the Core's out before I got out the other stuff.

If you want this for a hospital, military, or police use just pretty much say you bought it IC somewhere. However for military and police it would ONLY be sold to US forces.

Also, still up for working with other companies on this

@we_must_evolve: Hawke Industries would definitely be interested in working with Hamilton Corps for the Cores. ;-)

@paragonxxx: Oh yeah and secondary question: Would they do business just involving the Nova Steel Core's and Cooling systems or would you like to be involved in some of the other products and such they'll be working on? Like the Nova Steel powered cars and whatnot.

@we_must_evolve: I'll willing to do this IC or OOC, I'm good either way. :-)

And depends on the tech. I think Nora would be interested in the Nova Steel, Nova Cores and especially a Healing Chamber or two.

Could they be used as coolers for gaming PCs? Fang would be willing to spend a fortune on it.

@fang_the_dragon: Most certainly, as long as he bought a core with good materials he could get an incredible cooler. Interestingly it would probably cost only a couple hundred as much as a normal generator if he got a large one. With a small one though it would be fairly cheap and could work almost as good as a normal generator to use for cooling.

@paragonxxx: We could work that out. I'd honeslty like IC. Would you like Alfred to go meet her or vice versa?

@fang_the_dragon: What kind of cooler would it be and I could estimate how big of one you'd need. Mostly it's just how much can the materials take because a toothpick that's as hot as lightning constantly would give off a lot of energy but also might burn away the materials. So the core itself has to be big enough to handle it.

@we_must_evolve: We are talking about the gaming PC of gaming PCs. Basically a few high grade military processors with a matching power need. Several high power server banks coupled together to give the best possible connection and performance.

@fang_the_dragon: Ahh so this is a big thing. Well if it takes about as much energy as an average car would a box that's just 1 foot by 1 foot would be adequate. But that may not be open to public yet, who would be buying it?

@we_must_evolve: Then lets make that a 5 by 5 just to be sure. One of Fang's many straw companies. Most probably some high tech company. Fang still refrains from appearing openly in public.

@fang_the_dragon:

Ok. In a couple days then you can get it but they're still not produced in large number quite yet which is why mostly just hospitals have them.

@paragonxxx: Cool!

And maybe do it in the Hamilton Corps thread.
