Mythocara Republic OOC Discussion

I have no idea what the hell I'm supposed to say, so blah blah blah here it is.
I will be making small cities or villages on small bunches of bought land on several island areas. These areas are Australia, New Zealand, Madagascar, Hawaii, Samoa, Jamaica, and Antarctica. I did not take all of the land by any means, and all the countries or territories are running normally.
 
Anyone who wishes to oppose this say so and give specific reasoning.
 
I had this under construction long before these new empire rules, hence why I didn't account for them. 

14 people don't seem to have any problem with it. A good start.

Honestly, I don't know when all of this became so serious... I like the name though.

I'm building single cities, villages, or colonies per area. One city in Australia, one city in New Zealand, ect. I'd say all the land gained from this colonial period would be less than Texas.

@_Punk_: Might need to consult with hannigan, nowadays with current UN conventions colonization is a no no but hey have an rp mate to strengthen your claim

I've given it some thought and I think Lady Liberty would oppose the Hawaii colony. So she's down to battle for it.

But its all she cares about, the other stuff she won't fight over.

Anyway, we should figure out what the RPG will be. Her goal would probably be evicting the peeps and stuff of the Hawaii colony.

Well we gotta, its the rules now. I was thinking it could be Lara evicting the settlers from the Hawaii colony, and whatever force they send to try and stop her.

All of us have to work to get along. It doesn't magically happen, we put in effort and we try. You make us try a lot harder for no good reason. We aren't all out here plotting to offend you!

Now you have been very difficult sense this rule was created, and you have been very rude to me personally about it. There wasn't any cause for it, but I ignored it. Just as I've ignored the other times you've done things like this. Maybe you have a difficult real life or something, I try to not judge. But this stuff needs to stop.

Liberty is my character. I'm the one that decides what she feels, and does. Not you.

On to the RPG part. That would work fine, if they went home she would have no reason to fight with them.

She just called him a punk. I don't know if I should be laughing or not.

But yeah, I read an old one some long time ago that was a simple meeting between Gambler and some other dude in a dojo, I think they were talking about the fate of some kid. Everything doesn't have to be a huge bust 'em up.

Dude, I think she was talking about the whole thing. There was the intro to this, and afterward there was the snide comment about 14 people (at least, it came off as snide). Also, in the peeve thread, then Surkit said "This isn't the passive slam thread, calm down." you went all "don't."

I'd read it. Diplomatic. Plus, errthing ain't got to be super lengthy or bash 'em up. It'll be fiiiiine.

@Sparrow_of_Aces: The point is your behavior has made things difficult for a lot of people for a long time now. I'm tell you that we've noticed, and I'm asking if you could please change it :-)

I was just thinking that if a single individual were to suddenly begin developing small cities, or towns (for whatever reason), it would be an international story. Philanthropist, Sparrow, would make headlines of some sort with these acquisitions. Gambler sees this and believes a mutual partnership could be arranged. Having developed the original Utopia in Africa, attaching his name to the land development could attract outside investors. In exchange for his help, Sparrow would allow Gambler to build small biological experimental research facilities in secret on a few of the properties. This would mean protecting his investment against all threats, foreign and domestic. In short its a way for me to back you against Lady Liberty while hopefully creating an entertaining rpg.
