Misconception:
Drake's an RPG character.
In no way is he as big as his ego.
Converse to what you may think, your character is actually someone I like because of what a jobber he's meant to be. It's very clear you are deliberate to playing it, and it's neat change to have someone who talks mad crap but is specifically made to not be able to back it up :)
Thank you so much, I glad to know I getting his "Jobbering" across so well.
The Shogunate's army isn't equipped with lots of vibranium equipment and weapons. There are some, sure, but they are rare and issued to specialists units. The only force that has vibranium as standard equipment is the Orochi, who are loyal to Ivana alone.
-Ace isn't the leader of the Rumblers. They make choices through majority and general agreement.
-Veronica isn't of supernatural origins. She isn't possessed by demons or spirits. Nor is she some sort of advanced technology with A.I. Simply put, she's literally just a sentiant, evil car.
Lana is an attention whore.
LOL JK. That's totes accurate.
But she's not emotionally available even if she's flirting with you. Possibly because she is in love with fame/herself. #famemonster

So she's a fame whore? ;P
@thunderwave: Why is there a question mark after that statement? :P
@reddiamond: Oooooooohhhhh.
@thunderwave: I would not be surprised if she has some sex tapes floating around (since that's how everybody gets famous these days). She doesn't do it for love. She does it for scandal!
@reddiamond: You really want me to check the net for that? Okay...
@thunderwave: Nothing is safe on Google. Viewer discretion advised.
@reddiamond: Ctrl + Shift + N is your friend.
@thunderwave: LOL xD
@reddiamond: Seriously, though, nothing like a controversial superstar. You'll fit in just fine.
@thunderwave: Oh, well, that's no fun. Don't want to fit in... Lana wants to stand out! ;)
@reddiamond: Well, other things certainly did fit in ;P
@thunderwave: ...........
Well played. LOL
@thunderwave: Sure. I only have two lectures this week. How busy I am in the evening may depend on when my partner gets home from work.
@reddiamond: Sounds great!
@thunderwave: @reply me or PM me ideas. :)
@reddiamond: Anything goes, really =)
I feel I need to put this out there before I continue.
Unlike the source they're inspired from, the Sinners are asexual after infection and have no sexual drive at all. Only releshing in every other awful evil act possible.
I feel a great need to go over these because of the way I depict and how they might be confusing.
Why? Jericho survived getting shot by the anti-metahuman/armor piercing rounds. The same ones that hit with a force at least measurable in (at their lowest) multi-ton range and some going past 100 tons (Maverick's Manportable helical Cannon goes up to roughly 4000 tons for instance and that thing crippled a gamma empowered Satar in a single hit. Roughly 13 MJ of kineticenergy in one single round.) And I more or less want to touch on how the rounds work.
Basically, smaller, faster rounds are prone to a Phenomena such as overpenetration. The bullet goes right through them, as if they were more or less water. But doesn't dump it's energy into them because of how soft humans are. It can be compared to something like a needle going through a pillow. It pierces, but it still has enough energy to keep going and keeps going forward. This lead to a trend with normal bullets that leads to bullets breaking apart. Hollow point rounds flatten instead of piercing.
If the rounds encounter something that is strong enough to slow it down, it dumps more KE into the target. Simply, if the rounds don't dumped all their KE into a human target, they would explode.
This makes them more damaging to things that are more durable actually. Not just increased durability metahumans. People wearing body armor, steel, concrete, anything that stops it or slows it.
It annoys me when the rounds are treated like normal bullets. Not necessarily do I really need these rounds to actually pierce people, but I feel people don't really recognize the scale of the rounds. First of all...
Usually, such rounds are Tungsten based Sabots, which will more or less just go through people like tissue paper. It more or less depends on the round in question the effects it would have.
For instance, a 5.56 mm NATO round at such speed, would basically just feel like a very hot knife going all the way through you. Would go through the person and of course through a concrete wall with ease.
A .50 cal round however would leave a hilariously big hole if not rip them in half and keeping going it's merry little way. Bigger than that and you get similiar effects up to 11.
I just find this iron and funny. It means less durable people without armor stand a better chance than others. It'll pierce through some people like a knife and exert force on those it can't pierce, like people who have indestructible armor, like a club.
Wow. This turned out much longer than I intended but it's been on my mind for a while and I guess I just had the drive to type it.
@_creed_: Not a bug, still a pest.
Actually originates from the ravaged Reality-M where he became an equivalent of Sorcerer Supreme. However, his magic is nigh-depleted on this Earth due to exhausting himself to cross dimensions. Forcing him to relearn and readjust to this reality's source of magic.
Corvus of nU tragically died at the age of 10 when adventuring with his brother Kieran. (In Reality-M it was Kieran who died in his stead, duh.)
Plan-B isn't from the normal universe, he is from another universe in the same time but Catholicism never existed taking a lot of time away from religion and towards more productive things like making humans invulnerable to disease. I am posting this because people have said he is only a guy in a cosplay costume and all he is is a destiny rip but It is the perfect sci-fi look, I don't even like destiny.
@the_psyentist: Its the outfit lol.
Is not a prostitute. Or a courtesan. Or an escort. Or a hooker. Or any variation of those. :P
Lies, lies and more lies.
Xae does not consider herself somehow superior to Humans, though she is often baffled by their culture and society.

FOUND IT!
Damien does in fact fit the definition of a high-functioning psychopath - capable of literally dedicating himself to mastering any complex skill quickly without taking his own health into account, being assertive and apathic in his profession while maintaining utterly calm objectivity under pressure, avoiding procrastination and generally defying social norms and standards.
That said, Damien's objective outlook and seeming ruthlessness is in fact a coping mechanism with the brutality of his life. He in fact does not like killing and was known to breakdown frequently early in his career when spontaneously starting obsessive conversations with his dead targets, often repeating, and being unable to say anything other than, "I'm sorry." for hours after the deed was done.
Believes himself forced into the life of a professional killer because his extensive training was "meant to make him into mankind's hero" but found himself inferior to the rising tide of metahumans.
Not tryna be a smartass, but.....
I already knew that :D
Maybe not the Maverick-specific parts like plasma and whatnot, but I've always found over-penetration to be an interesting way to sell attacks from guns.
Pretty much the only way you can deal with a sniper while still granting him his competence.

Most of my guns aren't plasma guns and energy weapons!
The main reason being just the sheer impracticality of trying to make an effective man portable plasma weapon than a laser and because of all the countermeasures they have devised against raw thermal damage that kinetics don't have.
The Maverick specific parts are more just to describe the effect of such a firearm are like a railgun, which can discharge plasma upon impact as a side effect. The same can be said for something like a meteor impacting.
That's basically what most of Maverick's higher end weaponry is like. Being hit by a very small meteor :P
However....
Outfitting all soldiers with some of their own weapons would be incredibly expensive. Soldier who have been shown to be of high rank and skill (like Bradshaw) pretty much always carry gear that can in some way strike with hundreds or thousands of tons of force in a single shot. Upper end kilojoules and megajoules compared to an M-16 rifles half a ton.
But they have guns that dampen the recoil to the point of being able to dampen recoil and deal with increased barrel pressure. There are actually a few guns in real life with muzzle energies equal to around 16 tons, of course. And like I said, M-16 has around a 1400 lb impact, over 13x less.
Many of Maverick's upper tier kinetic weaponry puts out forces at ranges of 200-4000 tons in the hands of pretty much anyone who can carry them. Peoplelike Bradshaw carry these weapons regularly.
Explosives are always within the megajoule class and higher end ones are in the lower gigajoules and are 100,000s of times stronger than normal weapons. Other things HMX Deutrium Tritium Bombs are literally man portable (fissionless) nuclear bombs that produce no fallout.
(That they always deny using.)
Many people seem to not be familiar with what they are when they are allied with them or even apart of them.
In actuality though they are organic, they are functionally machines made of machines, sometimes with recording equipment impanted within the brain. Maverick actually considers them as expandable as an RC car functionally, because they are not truly sentient or conscious. More they are like a terminator.
People also forget that you can actually control them. I don't really mind when people kill them off in droves. However, I will describe their reactions and how they retaliate (such as searching for someone or shooting at them.) But from there, it's often up to the person how they sell them and deal with them.
