Versailles
It had been a trying year for Esther. Her isolation from the rest of the world's heroes, villains and mercenaries had begun nearly three years prior when she had fled France after discovering that Gambler wanted her dead and that he had ambitions to take the seat of power as the leader of Les Assassins Silencieux. Now she had returned to the home where she was raised by her Uncle, Josef Cotillard and it felt...surreal, somehow; as though a different person had grown up there. It was early and the sun was rising; its golden rays highlighted the hills of the Chateau's vineyard on the northernmost side, lighting the sky ablaze with hues of gold and orange and red. It was beautiful. Resting her weight against the railing of the balcony she looked down at the papers in her hand and opened the file. Before Esther had faked her own death and left France, she had made sure to move many of her assets into offshore accounts and bring with her her two most trusted advisors, Francois (Red Bird) and her Uncle, Josef Cotillard. In that time, her fortune had amounted well into the billions -- but not enough to re-establish the LaS ranks. At least not to what they were during the height of her "reign."
"We'll have to start from scratch," she said to herself, "and recruit...But where do you find allies when you've been dead for so many years..."

Can I start shipping Esther and Red Bird full on just to piss Gambler off? :D
I'll support it wholeheartedly :D
