A new weapon is on the brink of reaching the black market, and from there being utilized in untold destruction and death. A particular series of nanites have been created that can be loaded into ammo and delivered into the bloodstream and tissue via ammo. Once within their host, these nanites begin rewriting DNA into baseline human, essentially removing anything that gives special abilities or powers. They have recently come up for auction at a closed buyer's ball.
