The Tournament

The Court of Arcani hosts this gruesome blood sport on an string of abandoned islands in the Pacific. One island is where the combatants live in the tournament, and the others provide 'stages' for their brutal battles.

There are cameras everywhere, for the Court streams this live on the internet and takes bets. Around the world millions tune in and watch the vicious meta-humans fight in glorious high definition. Governments squawk and moral guardians rail against it, but the money rolls in.

And it rolls out. The winner of the Tournament is guaranteed a prize of one million U.S. dollars.. enough to draw them in.. but hopefully small enough to pull them back next year.

The Main Island

This is where the fighters live during the tournament. It offers well equipped gyms, spas, pools.. and doctors. Lots of doctors. Someone has to preform those after action autopsies.

This is both the IC thread and the OOC thread. Consider it an open interaction thread, its location is the main island. Feel free to drop by and do whatever, but don't destroy the entire island lol.

Tournament rules! You need to post a link to your bio if you intend to fight in the tournament, that way everyone can conferm you're actually a street leveler before the fighting starts.

It will be single elimination.

Rounds will be decided randomly by me. There may be odd numbers of people, or people may drop out or stop responding. In that case I will select someone at random to receive a buy.

If the combatants of a round cannot decide who one, it will be treated as a player dispute and the CoE will be asked to vote on a winner.

Each fight will have its own thread that I will set up and provide the OP for.

@Arquitenens: Well equipment is part of characters so if a character is allowed there equipment is too. That's why I look and see how good the equipment is.

Iron man for example is well above street level because of his equipment.
