Hawkeye #22 is "currently" scheduled for July 15. I think it was originally solicited for August 2014. Whose to blame for this, who knows, but my guess is Aja. The same reason we ended up with a third of the series as filler issues with Kate in L.A. At this point I don't even remember what happened in #21.

I've really been enjoying DC's sneak peeks. I'm liking a lot of the art from the SP. They don't feel tradition and clean. Hopefully the stories deliver.

Normally I agree with Matt's reviews but I loved both Infinity Gauntlet and Old Man Logan.

@g_man I can't remember when it was announced but I saw somewhere that James Tynion and Ming Doyle decided to just fold the ideas they had for Dark Universe into the Constantine book. I think it was James who announced it on his Twitter feed.

@wardishy: I heard something different unofficially at c2e2. Maybe things have changed since then. I must've missed what was tweeted. Pretty sure DC hasn't actually released any info which is kinda weird since they did announce it.

I loved Massiah Wars but yeah, Bishop... What the hell man?!

I didn't even realize that some people didn't like Watchmen. I know it's not perfect but I remember loving it. I even thought the end made a bit more sense than the comic, maybe I need to rewatch it though.

I know it's easy to give Bond the win over Die Hard but especially after the newer movies he seems so unkillable. To bad those movies weren't better though.

So the Guerro counter argument for the 1/2 page ads is "it happened in the 60's"? There's a lot of things that happened in the 60's that are no longer acceptable. Even in comics alone. Those ads are a real insult to artists. You're reducing the space in which they create and altering the reading experience. Panel layout is an aspect to the art of comics. Remember the deliberate 9 panel grid of From Hell and Watchman? The orientation altering of Capullo's Batman and Quesada's Daredevil? And the aspect ratio of digital releases is not a valid argument either because the size of the art remains basically the same. From Bleeding Cool:

@themantisshrimp: I saw this as well. I think it's Marvel sitting on the issue at this point. I had also heard that Fraction had the script done, Aja completed the art, and now its just waiting for release.

I've waited this long. I can wait longer.

Just don't put those ads in the trade ,and I'I be happy.

So we have a month until comic con!! I am sure you get this question, but what do you usually do to prep for it? Also try hash House a go go, hodads, and donut bar (google image these places) while you're down here.. Those are a few great places in the downtown area. Also get your self a California burrito their so good (again google it).
