World War I weapon of choice

BAR was very reliable, if a little heavy. Few moving pieces, easy to clean, good caliber. Such a good design that it saw service even into WW2

Bolt.

Well considering the Springfield M1903 is probably my favorite rifle of all time, i'll go with that.

I dunno, haven't played Battlefield 1 yet.

Ah, the M1918 BAR, one of the goods examples where the following models were worse then the original. Not sure I would say it is my weapon of choice, that is for sure.

Love the Chauchat. Fire once, spend the rest of the battle trying to unjam it.

I think I would pick the humble rifle though. Prefer an Lee Enfield although I wouldn't mind a Sprignfield. Can't go wrong with either.

Flamethrower

Flamethrower... i have no choice when there's a flamethrower.

An MP18 or flamethrower.

Enfield bolt action rifle. Reliable and sturdy.

The bar and bolt action rifle sound good. I bet using that shotgun in trenches must've been a sight to see. I would not want to be on the opposite end of that weapon in a trench. Just brutal.

The Maxim Gun..That was one nasty piece of hardware.

Bolt action rifle. I'm not that great of a shot, so a simple, easy to use bolt action rifle would be best for me.
