Too vague. Most athletic? Most skilled in their sport? For the first one I'd say Floyd mayweather or usain bolt. For the second I would say tiger woods or Michael Jordan. Someone black.

Maybe so, but I still think LeBron is the better athlete, just how I consider him a better athlete than Michael Jordan even though he isn't the "better" basketball player per-say.
Because Vince Carter is a "better" athlete than, let's say Babe Ruth and Peyton Manning but we all know, he isn't on their level when it comes to who was a better player at their respective sport.....

@gymgoer205: Both prime Kobe and Jordan are more skilled basketball players than LeBron (probably), but as a pure athlete? No. LeBron is a pure freak of nature. He has the build of Karl Malone but the speed and quickness to guard Derick Rose.
This question is close to impossible to answer for me, but my knee jerk answer is Jordan. Most of my generation would probably agree. But depending on what era you grew up in, the answer to this varies
EDIT: I think Deion Sanders, Bo Jackson and Roy Jones Jr in their prime all deserve to have their cards thrown on the table here in terms of pure athleticism.
