Look, I get that you can make the argument the Black Lives Matter protesters are going too far in their ways of getting more attention on their issue and I get the argument that those extremes are the only way to get people to not just ignore the issue. Funny enough the situation is not black and white, there are a lot of messy grey areas.

But White Lives Matter? Are you kidding me? So some gunmen with black nationalist beliefs go out and assassinate two police officers (one of whom was black) and now we white people feel like we're under attack or that no one feels our lives matter anymore?

We are not a threatened minority in the United States! Black Lives Matter was basically started because of the possible unnecessary police brutality that seems to overly target black people, resulting in many deaths that no one is ever held accountable for. Whether you agree with what the protesters do or not, their position is understandable. But this? This is a bunch of idiots basically saying "Oh, we're being discriminated against too because of the few bad things that have happened to us lately. We're totally being oppressed." All because some people in the protests went too far in assaulting police, some extremists killed two cops whom again, one of them was black, and because this one organization, the NAACP is not directly speaking out against what happen.

Yes, other white people, we are totally the new underdog in America. Keep freaking telling yourselves that.

I don't feel like black people are being oppressed to the degree that they're reacting to, though things do need to finish up being equalized. There are definitely some loose ends that need to be tied up.

My problem is not that this group is saying white lives matter. I'm white, so yeah, I'd like to think my life matters. And despite what some people may think, Black Lives Matter is not saying only black lives matter.

My problem is that White Lives Matter is acting like they're a repressed group when they're not. I can understand both sides of the BLM protests and everyone's points of view. This WLM protest has no real cause behind it. White people are not being discriminated against, at least not to the same level as other race groups in the USA so it's stupid that this group is even a thing.

I certainly get the analogy, my stance is just this: is the house REALLY on fire more than anyone else's (in regard to houses being set on fire more than anyone else's) which statistics show's they aren't. Publicity is shining more light on these particular houses, not the actual number of houses being lit on fire over all. Since we're doing analogies. :)

Now...if we're talking about houses that need to be improved and repairs need to be done on, then okay...yes certain houses need a little more repair done to them than others. That I can agree with.

This thread is just more needless crying. I am not going to sit around worrying about all the ways people are expressing their first amendment rights. This goes for blm, wlm, democrats, republicans and whoever. So long as they are obeying the law.
