For me, it would probably be The Hangover, Life of Pi and Anchorman. I despise those films.
Lost in Translation, Tyler Perry movies.
I have never met a person who liked those movies in my life. They're not exactly critically acclaimed.
@morleericks: Funny, because bvs is also mentioned in the other thread
@cpt_nice: Are you a fan of BvS?
@morleericks: I could take it or leave it.
I also say Lost in Translation.
I almost mentioned that one but I wouldn't say I dislike it as much as Birman. I definitely do not like it all though.
Shawn of the Dead.
What did you hate about it? I did not enjoy it but it wasn't terrible either.

I just found it so boring, I simply did not like or care about those narcissistic Americans... -_-

Shaun of the dead is situated in the UK. Or were you being sarcastic?
@cpt_nice: I quoted the wrong post, I was talking about Lost in Translation.
Ooooh right. Yeah that bothered me too.

It had some funny moments, particularly dealing with Shaun's obliviousness to everything going on around him. Other than that, the movie took way too long to get moving, and almost all of the humor came from crappy stoner jokes... It's like, "haha these guys are morons, that's funny right?"
@anna_karenina: I think just about everyone knows the series went to crap after the first 2, with Tokyo Drift being just passable as a decent action flick.
The Matrix trilogy.
Most people only love the first one, and even that one is sort of iffy.
Avatar - i get accosted everytime i express how much i hate that movie. because people say "you just don't get it"
Harry Potter movies - (yes, all of them...It's the Weasleys fault mostly but Harry actor was just upsetting me in the last couple)

It is literally the Pocahontas story for the 5000th time. It looks nice though, so at least I somewhat enjoyed it.

@cpt_nice: LOL You are spot on!! I usually compare it to Last of the Mohicans but tomato/tomahto.
And yeah, it had great CGI no denying that and good actors(even if they weren't used to their full potential) But I seriously don't get all the hype it got cause people were acting like it was some monumental thing and i was just meh. watching it once was enough for me
I kinda expected more from James Cameron he has made some great movies before. So i suppose if anything i went in with high expectations and then felt let down
I hate most of the "stoner comedies" involving Seth whats-his-name with the stupid laugh and his skinny friend. '
The only time I laughed in that world ending movie was Danny McBrides one liner about Hermoine robbing them or something.
@fallschirmjager: Seth Rogan and yeah they are pretty terrible but i think (or id like to think) that most people would agree with you about his movies.
The sad thing about James Franco (the skinny one) is that he is capable of good acting and still lets himself get roped into sheet roles
Seth Rogen movies are generally liked by reviews and viewers. So they do fall into these category. (Not personally for me, I like them)
I dont like Avatar and the end of Civil War bothered the hell out of me as much as the ending of Batman v Superman.
I haven't seen it but I wanna say Sausage Party. Looks like the only gag in it is swearing food which is a joke that could run dry, I might be wrong tho and it could turn out to be as good as I've heard.
Hmmm..I dont know if hate is the right word, but i find Pulp Fiction to be very overrated.I like it and thought was ok-meh but its nowhere near one of the best films ever made imo...And Captain America: Winter Soldier was simply alright to me nothing special, I think the First Avengers was by far the superior movie.
the whole Twilight saga
Only people who like that movie are fans of the books and they seem to be a vocal minority. The movies are generally ridiculed.
Well, movies are 99% of the time not as good as the books they are made of. Smae goes with HP, but at least HP movies were really good even aside of the books that aer better.

I assure you there's much more to it than that, it's actually full of sociopolitical commentary.
@black_wreath: Sounds kinda highbrow for a Seth Rogen film then, it didn't look like it'd be that kind of a movie from the trailers I saw. I gotta wait till 2nd September before I can see it though, it's the wurst.
@black_panther18: Someone just had to mention The Hunger Games... >_<
I don't hate the Lego Movie, but it's novelty was immediately lost on me since Legos didn't have any impact on my childhood, so all I was left with was an unfunny movie with a nice message.
Clerks was a stupid movie. The acting was bad and the story was lame.
I also don't understand why it's a cult classic. Surprisingly unfunny from start to finish
