Slut shaming is not as bad as creep shaming most guys don't care if a girl is Slut shamed

Neither should be a acceptable though I feel slut shaming is a bit worse due to the double standard that guys arepraised for being promiscuous

I don't think I understand how either of these terms are being defined in the OP.

Creep-shaming: Labeling ugly dudes as creeps for trying to flirt with women

Slut Shaming: Labeling any woman a slut or whore, because she enjoys having sex, has sex a lot, or may even just be rumored to participate in sexual activity

@frogdog: In that case, both are equally idiotic and potentially damaging to a person's self esteem. Too close to call.

Obviously slut-shaming. "creep shaming" is basically someone turning down someone's advances. And guess, what? You're not entitled to anyone's time of day. Yeah it hurts feelings but whatever.

Shame only works on people with low self esteem, which is something that we do have control over. That said, its still wrong for people to actively try to make other people feel ashamed. Unless those people actually did something worth feeling shameful over.

Both sound equally awful, notwithstanding the little bias from op's side and being as little informed as I am on either of those terms.

What is creep shaming? Are you seriously telling me a girl or guy has no right to shoot down uncomfortable sexual advances?

Do terms like "creep" and "slut" often get abused in order to put people down for breaking social norms? Sure. It doesn't change the fact that people who legitimately fit those descriptions exist.

Creep shaming imo because you're degrading someone just for approaching you. That's worse than degrading someone for sleeping with almost anyone.
