Which do you like best? Jason and the Argonauts(1963) or Clash of the Titans(1981)?

All of Ray Harryhausen's creature-work movies are good, but between these two, I prefer Jason and the Argonauts. I saw it first when I was a kid and it really impressed me. The battle versus the skeleton warriors is classic cinema, now.

aaaand now I'm making bets with myself as to how long it will take Hollywood to remake Jason and the Argonauts.

I prefer the creatures in it and the skeleton warriors are just iconic.

I'm more of a Sinbad & The Eye Of The Tiger fan, but out of those two, I'll take JATA.

While I agree Jason/argonauts was better, the scorpions/Calibos fight in CotT was masterfully done...

but it's stuff like capturing Harpies, killing hydras, fighting the undead that pushes Jason & the argonauts above the other imo.

I can quote more lines from Clash of the Titans. So I chose clash.

Jason and the argonauts. One of the best greek mythology films IMO.

Argonauts

• Damn this is a tough one since both were good...But i gotta go with Jason and Argnaughts by a nose becuase of that iconic skeleton fight..Also seeing the giant Bronze statue guardian Talos come to life was truly breathtaking.
• Also as crazy as it sounds since both films are separated by two decades...But i found the special effects in Jason and the Argonauts to be vastly superior to the Original Clash of the ttiiants.
• Also special shout out to Ray Harryhausen.(The special effects artist behinds both films)...That guy was a legend, all his special effects creations had flavor and life behind them..Which is more then i can say for some of the empty soulless effects creatures we see nowadays.

Gotta go with Jason.

to be used in the battle forums?? IDK,,,seems a bit tricky (considering the amount of users who have/have not seen these classics vs. finding fair opponents for them) but sense were talking old school cinema..... Sinbad: The sailor (7th voyage, Eye of the Tiger, Golden voyage, etc. etc.) ??

Jason and the Argonauts is my favorite movie of all time! It has my vote for sure!

I remember when I was around 6 years old these two plus the original Ghostbusters were my favorite movies to watch.

I'd say Jason edges out Clash but they're both awesome.
