I just don't care anymore.... Unless they can finally make Batman the worlds greatest detective in a movie I have no interest in seeing another Batman film.
@super_ninja: Oracle would be best served in a Birds of Prey movie and/ or Suicide Squad sequel. I totally agree that Cassandra Cain would be the best candidate for the first Batgirl movie. Lady Shiva, Mother, David Cain and the League of Assassins would be the best villains for the first run. In fact, here is a transition that could flow very well. The first Batgirl movie would have the Killing Joke as a story line reference.
The second Batgirl would be Cassandra Cain's story and the settings would take place in Gotham as well as places in Europe, Asia and Africa. The final Batgirl movie would be Stephanie Brown's run. Cassandra Cain has killed her actual mother like she did in the comics but has chosen not to spare her with the Lazarus Pit. Cassandra has inherited her mother's title as Lady Shiva and commands her own sect of the League of Assassins. Cassandra passes the mantle onto her only friend Stephanie. Stephanie teams up with Tim Drake and Oracle to save Gotham.
@super_ninja: Prometheus and Wrath basically have the same origin story so I would combine the two and save them for a Batman movie with Green Arrow and Jim Gordon involved. Maybe the Riddler could be involved especially with the Cluemaster but that might be too obvious. Cluemaster is eventually killed by Bruce's brother Lincoln March aka Thomas Wayne Jr. You have other candidates?
@super_ninja: Not a bad choice. Did you hear that Black Mask is being seriously considered for the Gotham City Sirens movie? Just think Catwoman faces her arch nemesis Black Mask/ Harley Quinn gets into a serious tiff with Joker and Poison Ivy versus possibly Jason Woodrue.
@super_ninja: If Black Mask is going to be involved in the Gotham City Sirens movie then I would bring Clayface into the equation because of Sionis' Janus Cosmetics and Poison Ivy could have a serious impact in this as well.
Not Babs. She is infinitely more interesting as Oracle than she ever was or will be as Batgirl. Love-interest of Nightwing, the leader of the BoP and the tactical support for Batman. Add to that the potential character story she could have as a former superhero turned disabled person.
While I don't really think the DCEU needs a Batgirl, Cassandra would be the best choice if they had to have one. But, I don't think it will happen because the DCEU batfamily probably won't become as huge as it is in the comics.
@anna_karenina: Fine. Stephanie--who holds the unique titles of both worst Robin and worst Batgirl--should be on the big screen. Now I'm gonna hide so I don't get slapped.
@indomitableregal: I genuinely like her as Batgirl. And no need to hide. I'm just gonna postpone the revelation of a certain info I was going to give you today. :P
@anna_karenina: Wait, wait, wait lol. Stephanie is...um...cool. She should...make an appearance...as Batgirl. Because it's not like I'd rather have just about any other former/current sidekick. Honest. This is so painful right now...
