What Will Life Be Like In The Future? *Predictions*

What do you think life will be like in the year 2050\60? Make some predictions.

Here are mine:

• Humans will have landed on Mars and will be preparing to colonize the upper atmosphere of Venus.
• Most big companies and countries will now use an international digital currency similar to Bitcoin.
• Both the United Kingdom and the United States will have a state cede from the union.
• Every house will have a personal 3D Printer.
• Atheism, Islam, Buddhism and Scientology will grow, Christianity and Judaism will decline.
• The Superhero Boom will be over and will become a niche in comics whereas Independent style comics will be the majority.
• E-Sports will have become very popular in most countries.
• Production of AAA games will be replaced by large online Open Universe games where pretty much anything is possible similar to Minecraft and No Man's Sky. Instead of sequels they will be constantly updated with expansions.

I think this is already beginning to happen.

1. Mexico and Japan become superpowers.

2. China, Russia, and USA will remain superpowers but become stagnant.

3. Western population growth will ground to a halt sooner or later. Most Western nations will be competing for immigrants. USA will want Mexicans, EU will want Middle Easterners and Asians.

4. Powered exoskeletons will be used in future armed conflicts.

5. Possible limited non-nuclear World War III scenario with minimum casualties.

China and India compete for top spot.

6. Turkey and Germany will become regional superpowers. Turkey will have become much less secular by then, and Germany will have a Muslim population majority.

7. Military attack satellites and newly conceived moon bases are being developed.

Asia will become ridiculously overpopulated, leading to an economic meltdown!

While us Americans can just sit back in our hover-chairs and watch! Mwahahahahahaha!!!

We don't change much..

Aging will be put under comprehensive medical control.

Most jobs will be performed by Robots and AI, and there will not enough new jobs for everyone, which is why most countries will have some form of basic income for every citizen.

Religion will be on a decline.

AI systems will have near human intelligence, and big discussion will be should some of them have human rights.

EU will become United Countries of Europe (UCE), and will enter in a union with the USA, Euro-American Union.

Energy will come mostly from clean sources, like from power plants that work on nuclear fusion.

Driving a car will be forbidden. Cars will be autonomous and this will minimize the amount of car accidents.

Cars will be electric, and they will levitate above the roads, using the technology based on superconductivity. This way they will use far less energy and they will not pollute the environment, because there will be no friction between the road and tires.

Everything will become "smart", every window and every wall will be a computer screen.

We might also get a technology similar to those micro-bots from the movie Big Hero 6. Everything inside our house will transform into anything we can image, we will be able to move objects at will, with a sheer thought. Sensors in the walls will be connected to the computers which will read our thoughts and carry our commands.

Nanobots will keep us healthy from the inside of our body.

I totally agree with this, though I doubt Judaism will decline, have you ever seen or heard about any atheist or muslim Jew?

It will. Not majority, but 40% most likely.

@johnfrank120: Ok, maybe 40-50 percent of the population will be Muslim. Germany, like most EU nations will have a lower and lower number of youngsters, and their answer to that is immigration.

While there are surely many far right movements such as UKIP, Germany is pretty much done with anything close to Heil Führer. So their moderate and leftist parties will go easy on immigration and ta-da!

China, USA and India will slowly delve into a cold war.

Radical Islam's power will slowly wane.

The EU will be on the brink of collapse.

Man will land on Mars.

There will be moon bases.

The treaty for no one to colonise the arctic will be broken.

The majority of the Northern hemisphere will use majority green energy.

Great scientific rivalry between nations and companies will mean great developments.

There will be at least one incident which will bring the world on the verge of a new world war.

The future will likely be technologically advanced, but economically worse. I mean, that's how it pretty much has been since the dawn of man.

We will learn how to mass produce super-hard and light carbon nanotubes, which we will use to build space elevators

All of these pretty much seem true but I doubt Judaism and possibly Christianity will decline.

The Royal baby of the U.K. will grow up to be the new savior of humanity as he leads an uprising against the tentacle-sexbots. We will praise him by forming a religion in his name. :)

The Royal Baby religion becomes super popular, gets out of hand and leads to nuclear genocide. :(

In the wake of the nuclear genocide a group of scientists who survived managed to build a time machine to warn us of these imminent threats. :)

They arrive in the year 2015 but the machine breaks, no one believes them, and they are locked away in a mental health clinic. :(
