Out off all the races what one do you like the most?
Mine is:
Dremora
Followed by Orcs and Bretons.
@silkyballfro94: Khajit seem to have a lot of fans
@jonny_anonymous: Why do you like the Dremora?
Anyway, I LOVE the Orcs by far the most. I just love their culture, the way they fought to earn the respect of other races. It's also very refreshing to see Orcs as noble and honorable for once in a series.
Khajiit and Argonians are my other favorites. I'm just very impressed by the crafty and adaptable nature both races show in battle, and the fact they keep such a aura mystery about themselves.
Bretons and Snow Elves are the coolest human and mer races.
@ostyo: Because they look cool and they have the raw physicality of an Orc with the destructive power of a High Elf also unlike a lot of Deadra they have honor and a strict hierarchy
@jonny_anonymous: Yeah, that does seem to be true doesn't They're still ruthless and cold blooded but they do seem to go by their own code of honor/rules.
@ostyo: also horns are cool. I always give my Orcs horns.
@jonny_anonymous: I do the same for my Argonians lol.
@soa: What's wrong with the Imperials?
For me it goes, Imperial, Redguard, Orcs.
Then nonplayable, would be Goblins, Giants, and Falmer.
@granitesoldier: A rare Wood Elf fan.

Yeah, to me, an awesome Imperial is like a spartan warrior with caramel skin, bulging muscles (nearly as ripped as a Redguard), shoulder-length ebony hair, super-sharp wit (unlike the Nord snow monkeys) and has a perfect Italian (or Greek) accent. Redguards are just as raw, with slightly bigger muscles, full wooly beard, deep chocolate skin, blue turban sometimes covering his face for that mysterious look, super skilled and quick, deep voice, and well...
I usually play as a Nord, but Dunmer are the best race, IMHO, no contest.
@granitesoldier: A rare Wood Elf fan.
They're not very rare.
@squares: Someone picking a Bosmer as their favorite race? No, that is pretty rare compared to the popularity of the other races.
I don't know, I guess it's a matter of comparison. I find there's more Bosmer fans than Argonian, Imperial, and Altmer fans, at least. People who rely on archery generally love the Bosmer, in my experience
Dunmer > Bretons > Altmer > Argonian > Orsimer. But my first, last, and most powerful character in every ES game is invariably a dark elf.
Well said.

I just like the ranger play style of stealth, bows, then dual-wield melee and they fit that very well in Skyrim. Rangers have always been my favorite class to play in pretty much any RPG game.
Redguards > Orcs > Nords > Elvish races are equal though Bosmer girls in Skyrim I find sexy > Beast races > Other Humans
@granitesoldier: Right on. Rangers rock, and Bosmer are a great choice for that style of play.
@xlr87t3: Imperials are based more on Romans than Spartans dude :P
Still awesome, though.

Weren't Sparta part of the Roman empire? They still wore those red crests on their helmets.

Huh, not really, man. Spartan preceded the Roman Empire by many years, I think even more than when Roma was still a monarchy.
I just can't choose between these two!
They're actually very similar in some respects. But yeah, if you're into high-strength characters, Orcs and Redguards can't be beat.
