@the_man_with_questions: Ah ok ? well socially , rather then what you physically have like a penis , vagina etc, it would probably be how you feel , your outward appearance, and how others thinks of you , not exclusively but obviously if ur a biological male and put on a dress , it wouldn't make you a woman , you would be a crossdresser , if you then start having surgery or hormones and are actually living as a woman and people trat you and think of you as a woman then essentially your a woman , but yeah I might be hard for close friends and family to think other wise , but if they respect your wishes then it will help
But then again of course that still doesn't make you a WOMAN as you cant change your chromosomes but if you look feel and our treated then that's the best you can get ?

maybe but I don't think dancing is necessarily a 'gay' thing, it was a way for people to enjoy, socialize, meet, be musical before the age of phones and the internets
Five factors: chromosomes, gonads, hormones, reproductive anatomy, and genitalia. If they all line up a certain way, the person's a male, another way, female, any other way, some variation of intersex.
This is sex in the concrete sense. Sex in the non-concrete sense is gender, which to my mind is correct if and only if it conforms to what is concrete. In application, this means that society's expectations of women, for example, are flawed if they are not based on physical characteristics particular to the female sex, and a woman's gender identity is also flawed if she fails to identify herself as a woman.
Biology. I mean sex wise it's how you are born biologically. Gender wise I don't care that concept is stupid. How you born determine your sex not society. Liking chickflix, my little pony, wearing pretty skirt and enjoying playing with barbie does not make you a girl, is what you are born with. Want to change your body to a female, you still a guy, just because you can do stuff that makes you look less weird by society viewpoint does not make you a female, just a good looking guy that can wear a skirt pretty nice. The point is stop making this issue complicated.
Biologically speaking... The genes that are active in the sexual chromosomes. In some cases, a weird event of recombination may lead to a female XY or a male XX, though both are infertile.
As I see it, there's no simple answer to that question.
Everyone saying chromosomes is wrong. You can have XX chromosomes and still male. And have XY chromosomes and still be female. You can XXY chromosomes. XXXX hormones. XYY.
Genitals? You can be born with both. You can be born with undeveloped ones. You can be born sterile. You can be born without testes or ovaries. Enlarged clitoris.
Breasts? Everyone has those. Men can even have enlarged breast.
