What if the roles were reversed? Men started making sandwiches for women.

This is under the assumption and generalization that many men aren't already cooking food for their women....because many do.

I for one don't believe in such asinine "gender assigned roles", or responsibilities, in the categories of cooking and cleaning or anything. It's demeaning and limiting. Those things are to meant be done as a sign of respect/care/love for yourself, your home and your respective partner. Not out of some ostensible obligation or unwritten rule (who made it anyway?).

If you're a man you should learn to cook and clean because real men should be capable of doing those things for themselves or others. It's not a women's job to be your mother (someone who should've taught you better anyway).

Set a better example guys.

I know you're joking, but I'd just like to say that one of my favorite: poets(Maya Angelou), authors(Mary Shelly), nobel peace prize winner/civil rights activist, politicians, some the greatest minds of science and mathematics(Caroline Herschel and Shakuntala Devi), and some of the strongest people (I personally know)..are all women. So, I think they've earned their keep, over the millennium, as being more than just sammich makers.
