But like... naked and not in a coffin. That way they become nutrition for the dirt. Just like Mufasa said
It just feels like we are neglecting all this possible nutrition for he planet. Anyone else think the same?

I want to be stuffed and placed in the corner. Preferably on a creaky rocking chair.
I'll dump you in a ditch and tweet your picture as a "bruh" meme.
I've never understood the point of burying people at all. When I'm dead, I want them to harvest any salvageable organs off me, and then cremate me.
Why the Hell does society insist on wasting so much space for graveyards when a crematorium takes up much less? We could actually use that space for something more important, like farmland. I think society should stop focusing on the needs of the dead and start focusing on the needs of the living. This guy said it perfectly.
Graveyards are a waste of space, embalming is a waste of time and coffins are a waste of money.
When I'm dying, I won't give a crap about what'll happen to my body after I'm dead. And when I'm dead, I certainly won't care. When I someday write a will, I'll say "Just cremate me, don't go through all the trouble of buying a burial plot that'll cost you a lot of money."
@the_man_with_questions: Yeah, but A) the wood in most caskets are probably pumped full of preservatives to give them a longer shelf life and B) the embalming fluids keep your body from naturally decomposing.
Will the casket and your body eventually decompose? Yes, but why make it unnecessarily longer and unnecessarily more expensive than it needs to be. When I die, the last thing I want my loved ones worrying about is paying thousands of dollars for a coffin, my last suit, and a nice hole in the ground.
Agreed, through all of my life, I have fed of the nutrients of the flora and fauna of this Earth. I think it's fair that in death, my body is used to feed the flora and fauna. So I want buried but I don't want casket or any of the embaling fluids in my body. Also I wouldn't mind if they buried me in the middle of nowhere as long as It doesn't cause too much grief on my loved ones I don't care.
I want to be cremated and have my ashes used to temper the steel of a knife, a piece of my bones used as a spacer in the handle, and drops of my blood used in the oil to quench and harden the blade.
2 of those, one for each of my kids.
@dadivineking: Brilliant^^^ XD
I want @jucaslucasa to reenact this meme when I die.
@jucaslucasa: :'(
Fine, I'll give them to someone else.
We should burn them to make sure they don't come back as zombies.
There's always a joker ruining an otherwise serious thread. Zombies aren't real. What we should do is stake their hearts, cut off their heads, and string garlic over the graves, because we don't want any vampires.
:P
coffins are a waste of wood. funerals are a waste of money. clothes and cushions become a waste too. graves and tombstones a waste of land especially for a planet we refer to as overstuffed and overpopulated. we bury dead pets anyway so why not dead people.
