@TheRealDeal153: I'm not talking about anime vs comics(though anime would win since most anime have ridiculously powered characters). I'm saying that Japan could probably probably have some real life Gundam's hidden or something, it was meant as a joke since this thread is obvious flame bait

Compare size of the countries in question, while one of them has nukes wich they are obviously not afraid to use, then ask yourself why you made this thread.

Maybe if they were equal size and nukes were off limits we could talk.

Japan? You mean the country that practically houses part of the US Pacific Forces? 

United States would win 10/10 hands down. People saying Japan would win against United States are making me LOL to death.

Why fight? Why not merge them together into a single United States of America. Either take the four main islands of Japan and make them four new states of the United States of America. Or we could turn each prefecture, of which there are about 47, and make each one a state in the USA. A win-win for everyone.

As far as competitive martial arts, I'd go with America hands down, since we basically use everyone else' styles and mold them into our own. UFC springs instantly to mind.

Military martial arts, I don't know much about Japan, but the well-trained soldiers in the USA (marines, green berets, Army rangers, generally all special forces divisions) are competent as hell in efficient CQC.

The US would defeat Japan in a week even without Nukes.

Did it occur to you that we have been Japan's protector since WW2?

How about the fact that not only does the US outnumber Japan they also have better tech, larger economy, largest Navy and airforce (crucial since Japan is an Island nation)

France could beat Japan in a war.

With or without nukes USA would beat Japan easily in an all out war. Why would United States declare a war with Japan??? United States and Japan are allies. US has bases in Japan.

Japan also has Donkey Kong, Mario, King Koopa, Sonic The Hedgehog, Metal Sonic, Dr. Eggman, Samus Aran, Ridley, Kraid, Goku, Lord Freeza, Piccolo, Krillin, Tien, Master Roshi and Yamcha :D

In all seriousness, I think the USA would win in an all-out war against Japan, that is obvious. The USA is arguably the biggest military superpower in the world and it also has the biggest economy in the world. The USA is also, arguably, the most powerful country in the world. That being said, war is horrible. By the way, I am not a US citizen, but I know the power that the USA Government wields.
