That besides The American Revolutionary War, and the War of 1812 that elements (not the government) of the United States tried to invade Canada four times. Two I'd barely count though, and one was to assist other Canadians (ain't that a kick in the Cannuk?) Another, in some odd way that I didn't bother to try and figure out was to somehow try to help a revolt in Ireland...go figure.
