Are you not voting?
Oh no, I already know what I think. Wanna know what you guys think :)
Oh no, I already know what I think. Wanna know what you guys think :)
But I/we want to know what you think :)
If I was voting I would say claustrophobia, if I so much as get trapped in a jumper for a second I freak out and start panicking O_O

Oh yeah those jumpers can be really evil :D
Hehe, now you see why I haven't been commenting :P My phobias are kind of laughably mental XD

I don't think Claustrophobia is any less laughable than Acrophobia,I just think the example you used sounded kind of funny :)
Well none of them are funny really, because they are terrifying at the time, but still you have to laugh :) And there are plenty of things people fear that aren't even here, because they are just kind of weirdly specific. Like for example I know someone with a really serious fear of bird's feet. And I'm afraid of cows. So I just tried to go with universal ones :)

Yeah true.I mean I know claustrophobia isn't funny I just thought the example you used sounded kind of funny.
Odd thing about phobias and fears is that there is pretty much at least one person out there who is afraid of something no matter how odd it may seem such as bird feet.
I can kind of maybe get why they may not like bird feet maybe a similar reason I don't like spiders because of all the legs.
That's okay I knew what you meant :)
I guess no matter how strange or irrational a fear might seem, there is often some kind of logic or reason behind it, even if it is skewed or unfounded. Like Billy Bear meat. It looks like skinned teddy faces O_O
Oh and um...

Irrational literally means, most of the time it has no reasonable reason, the fear of heights for example is not irrational. A fear of spiders is, if you live in the UK for example, we do not have killer spiders :P
a. Not endowed with reason.b. Affected by loss of usual or normal mental clarity; incoherent, as from shock.c. Marked by a lack of accord with reason or sound judgment: an irrational dislike.

Good point.
Did you know, psychologically speaking, there is supposedly no such thing as a fear of heights, just a fear of what you will do when you're up there? And psychologically, there is not such thing as a fear of enclosed spaces, just a fear of helplessness.
There you go.
Oh, i vote for claustrophobia, anyway.
I have heard that, yes. My mum has a fear of heights but she describes more as a fear that she will throw herself off O_O
@bumpyboo: Aren't bats rodents?
That occurred to me too, but apparently a lot of people are scared of one but not the other, so up they go :)
Oh and also I should mention musophobia is specifically mice and rats, as far as I know O_O
Musophobia is the fear of mice and rats only. Rodents include all kinds of mammals, however bats are not rodents because they're quite special and different. Major differences include wings as forelimbs (rodents usually can't fly), the echolocation system for orientation, and very sharp front teeth - bats do not gnaw which is the major characteristic of all rodents.
Big thanks to Animal Planet!

Thank you so much for clearing that up :D
